Here is how to transfer to any high school in the area

Jackson’s article says one of the sidelined players is a D1 commit to a prestigious program. That’s gotta be the Clemson commit - why doesn’t he just come out and say where he lives?
Anonymous
Jackson wrote a blog, not an article. He is a known nut (started a war within the PTA at TJ), colluded with crazy Asra, ran for school board as a bomb thrower and more.

This is just a ranting parent blog lol. Post some real journalism.

No Harry Jackson lives in Western Fairfax County. His kids wouldn’t travel an hour to attend Hayfield each way.

He is saying FCPS is forcing Overton to keep quiet about the mistreatment of his program and that the kids being sidelined are in full compliance with the requirements to play.

I believe what he’s saying. The racism in FCPS is disgraceful.

Nope, you have to read more carefully. He said the kids (improperly) on the sideline satisfied FCPS residency requirements. As has been explained in this thread, they did not satisfy VHSL's bona fide residency requirements. He doesn't explain that VHSL and FCPS have MUCH different rules. His whole blog post is very misleading and inflammatory.

I personally think it’s racist to not expect black coaches and players to follow the same rules as everyone else.

If he were white you wouldn’t be pretending he’s breaking these rules he’s not.

He has broken a lot of rules but here's a very simple one even his dumbest defender can comprehend.

He is NOT ALLOWED to have random kids on the sidelines of football games. VHSL rule. They aren't on the team. They are INELIGIBLE to participate in any team events. Yet, three games in a row he has had random players hanging out on the sidelines who are NOT ON THE TEAM. Clear rule, broken.

If you find a coach of any other color trying to pull such a heist as he aspired to do, I guarantee you the news would be all over that.

The idea that a public school is beating opponents 70-0 and according to this ranting blog dad, still has *multiple Division 1 college commit seniors not playing* is completely ridiculous. Does he not know how ridiculous all of this is?

Can someone get that reporter who wrote all teh articles to investigate that cult woman who claims she is a coach and the Hayfield chaplain? She had crazy eyes in that sideline video. Something's not right with her.

It is not about race but about protecting the administration. Implicit in his rant is that Overton is being attacked in area where blacks succeed (by the way he is an effective coach with discipline). So a school can break the rules - the 9 kids on the sideline authenticate this fact, hire a chaplain contrary to constitutional requirements for separation of church and state, and hire a team mom into a special ed position and fund raise for public school team, and all is well? I am surprised he doesn’t mention the kids. Is being manipulated to transfer for a sport where very few obtain any sort of ROI in their interest?

Wasn’t there a public school football coach in California (a year or two ago) who lead team prayers before every game. The district fired him, only to have to rehire him after the Supreme Coart ruled in the coach’s favor.

This person isn't even a coach. She just seems to be a Overtin groupie with fringe religious beliefs.

Similarly, in the state of Virginia the court (aka State) gets to decide who is a legit religious leader for the purpose of marriage. So to say that this type of stuff doesn't exist is just ignorance.

My son plays HS football.
I can't imagine any parent posting a video like that from the sidelines (why are they even there?) or calling themselves "the chaplain"....and this nutter isn't even a parent, just some crazy off the street?

Going back to previous posts about CHS injuries, has it been substantiated that any losing team players have been injured?

It’s football. Hayfield players are also likely to be injured.

Can someone send it to VHSL, Reid and Mateo Dunne? And the PP who said VHSL has ruled about who is on the sidelines, can you make a VHSL complaint? I haven’t seen the video and know nothing about VHSL rules, but I don’t think people should drop this if violations are ongoing.
