This goes on for decades and decades. Legal immigration has been a mess. No party and no president has done anything about it. And no Universal ID.
Now that migrants have cell phones and are much better informed they have taken to exploiting this failing system. No matter the president.
Republicans are just posturing. They won’t fix anything either. They have business interests that profit from illegal immigration.

The fact that you cannot admit that it is incredibly worse under Biden because of his campaign rhetoric and his policies speaks volumes.
Republicans predicted this would happen when Biden was campaigning, given his rhetoric.
Just to emphasize: Biden has broken EVERY IMMIGRATION RECORD we have - in a bad way.

Cannot admit? Lol, no. That it is worse (highest numbers) is true, and a product of our times, the times we live in, not Biden specifically. . He did end the pandemic era quick turnaround law, that helped stem the flow, yes. But the pandemic is over, is it?
The numbers would have soared during the current years. Only fundamental changes to US laws would change anything. Neither party has been willing to go there in the past. The numbers are soaring for migration around the world, Europe is seeing the same phenomenon. Why? Migrants are more connected than ever. So are their smugglers. 50 years ago this was all much more difficult. That’s one reason. There are many more. Should the US do something about this? Absolutely, they must.

That is total BS.
His rhetoric on the campaign trail.... saying he hoped migrants surged the border.... promising ZERO deportations during his first 100 days.... then signing 94 EOs - most undoing anything that was working...... ALL result in the record encounters we see today.
This is the BIDEN border crisis. He caused it. He invited it. And, he owns it.

It’s the DEMOCRAT border crisis. No one so far here can name a single Democrat politician demanding reduced numbers of migrants. Yet, they they’re clearing out American school children to create space for unvetted foreigners.

True. Caused by Biden.
One Democrat has been on the right side of this..... Henry Cuellar. He is the only one.

That’s incredibly disrespectful to give illegal lawbreakers the right to vote. Do felons get the right to vote?. How about we all forgo paying taxes for a year? Can we become lawbreakers too and get a slap on the wrist and financial compensation for it?

There’s a legal process to migration that responsible citizens of the world follow. They do not hop over borders and expect their new country to take care of them

Yes, felons have a right to vote. These people are residents of NYC. Don't they have a say in local politics? The policies of the elected will directly effect them. America is still a democracy, right?

IMO - Voting is the right of CITIZENS. It is one of the perks of being a citizen. NY tried to pass a law giving illegal immigrants the right to vote if they had been in NY for 30 days. It was overturned by the NY Supreme Court.
I don't believe they should have a "say" in the policies that affect them. They shouldn't be here to begin with. Giving them the right to vote is how we end up with stupid ideas like debit cards loaded with up to $10,000 for migrants who have broken our laws.
And, not all felons have a right to vote.

Imagine being a poor American in NYC and watching the city you live in give away your community centers, put immigrants up in hotels and hand them 10k. Wild.

Imagine living in the greatest democracy in the world, and not having the right to vote. After the greatest democracy in the world has destroyed your former country for within over the last hundred years.

DP. Good for them. Must be why Biden was suddenly moved to take a trip to the border and pretend he's going to actually do something.

Democrats seem to want this country to go down the toilet. Never thought I'd see anything like this in my lifetime.
