| Are out... Noticed Mclean U11 & U12 teams are not represented. Didn't see Sterling's U12 team either. Did Arlington's teams each bump up a color for U12? |
| arlington left CCL so some teams are now in ncsl. same with Loudon. |
| Something is wrong... for example Mclean White 09 girls in Div 1? They were the gold team last year in the lowest division. |
I see MCLN 2010 Girls Gold, MCLN 2011 Girls Gold, MCLN 2010 Boys Gold and MCLN 2011 Boys Gold all listed. |
U11-U12 Mclean Green teams. U11 were in NCSL this past Spring |
| And syc left as well |
| Looks like a positive for ncsl. Seem to be more competitive teams for the Fall. |
| At the u9 and 10 ages, Division C is a good chunk of what was formerly CCL NextGen. Arlington, Loudon, Alexandria, McLean, Bethesda, SYC. All moved their top 2 teams over. That was like the entire NextGen, minus Stoddert and SYA and maybe one more I'm forgetting. |
| I thought Virginia Valor (the club formerly known as SYA/CYA, played their second teams in NCSL? |
| Beginning of the end for CCL |
| I think you have to credit NCSL for being pretty well run these past few years. They have a schedule for when everything will come out (divisions, game schedules etc) and they hit their dates reliably, game scores and standings are regularly updated etc. They have 50+ clubs with teams in the league so that is not that easy to pull off. |
| And they promote and relegate. Teams know exactly where they stand. Competition is pretty good for the most part. Refs show up for the most part. Very well run. |
| Hmm. We are Arlington Blue 09, and based on last season, I thought we would be in the top division, but I guess not. Oh well. Hopefully it'll be fun for everyone. |
Who places teams? Well we were at division three last year and now division one and no way do we belong there! White is going to kick our butts. |
