Bombshell: Leaked Kremlin docs show 2016 Russian plan to boost "mentally unstable" Trump campaign

Wow. This is massive. A leak Kremlin documents outline a series of meetings of senior Russian intelligence officials and Putin greenlighting and ordering a multi-agency all out effort to help "mentally unstable" Donald Trump win the White House in 2016. It outlines a psyops strategy of using social media and other influence techniques on Americans.

"After the meeting, according to a separate leaked document, Putin issued a decree setting up a new and secret interdepartmental commission. Its urgent task was to realise the goals set out in the “special part” of document No 32-04 \ vd.

Members of the new working body were stated to include Shoigu, Fradkov and Bortnikov. Shoigu was named commission chair. The decree – ukaz in Russian – said the group should take practical steps against the US as soon as possible. These were justified on national security grounds and in accordance with a 2010 federal law, 390-FZ, which allows the council to formulate state policy on security matters.

According to the document, each spy agency was given a role. The defence minister was instructed to coordinate the work of subdivisions and services. Shoigu was also responsible for collecting and systematising necessary information and for “preparing measures to act on the information environment of the object” – a command, it seems, to hack sensitive American cyber-targets identified by the SVR.

The SVR was told to gather additional information to support the commission’s activities. The FSB was assigned counter-intelligence. Putin approved the apparent document, dated 22 January 2016, which his chancellery stamped."

Unfortunately, these were leaked by the Kremlin to rile up Trump's supporters and cause domestic chaos in America. They know that Trump's supporters will only become more entrenched in their idiotic positions if confronted with evidence that they were manipulated.

Much of what was in the Steele dossier was not broadly known to Americans. A good 75% was later independently corroborated as true and accurate. Another 15% or so was corroborated as generally true but with some minor inaccuracies. A small remainder is as of yet unknown and uncorroborated. Very little of it was actually proven to be outright false.

Yet the right wing pretends like the entire thing was completely false and completely fabricated, which is completely untrue.

And here's the rub - wealthy Russians don't like living in Russia. They want to freely spend their money in Austria, Switzerland, London, NYC, the South of France. They want their grandkids to have 4 passports and attend Oxford and Harvard. The wives (and mistresses) want to go shopping in Beverly Hills and Paris.

The sanctions put all of that at risk. The sanctions are the #1 national security threat to Putin because it disrupts Russia's domestic balance of power. When Putin interferes in the U.S. elections and causing nearly one million preventable deaths, he's fighting for his own life. And that's all worth it to him and his self-interest.

Now you see what the Republicans and Putin-led Russia are ideological twins.

My googling is weak this morning, but I remember that at several points in 2016-2020, it was made clear through news stories and leaks that Fox and OANN were getting several of their talking points directly from Russia. The entirety of Fox is involved in a foreign op against America.

Not just ideological twins; working hand in glove. Russia hacked the RNC, too. They didn’t not use that information publicly against the GOP out of the goodness of their hearts. The GOP is working against America to protect itself.

Absolutely. Along with all of the massive social media influence operations on Twitter and elsewhere, which was tied to Russia-based botnets, the Putin-connected Internet Research Agency (which was indicted in the Mueller investigation) and many other things that all corroborate this and tie it all together. And the Republicans just blindly went along with all of it because it served "their side." This should be a HUGE wake-up call.

The GOP were every bit as compromised as Trump. Remember, the GOP mail servers were hacked the same time the DNC was hacked. The DNC material was weaponized and leaked via wikileaks (remember Trump touted wikileaks like 200 times over the summer of 2016?) - the RNC materials? Likely held over their heads. I am going to posit that the 2000 and 2004 elections were also rigged for the GOP, as well as several Senate races, and that would be in the RNC hack, which is why the whole party has closed ranks on this.

OAN is literally a Russian outlet.
Fox...remember Ivanka and Wendy Deng pictures? Rupert Murdoch gained US citizenship SO he could start Fox News. The whole thing is meant to divide by using half truths and innuendo to foment hate among different Amercians. Just the whole vaccine thing is proof of this by one example.
