Husband can’t cuddle!

My husband cannot cuddle with me without it leading to sex! I just think that’s weird and why can’t he just cuddle with me?

Not all men are like this. We have sex 3-4 times a week but cuddle daily for long periods of time. We can just be tired after a long day and cuddle up on the couch watching TV. We are more morning/early afternoon sex type of people before the long day makes us tired.

You can because you already have sex 3-4 times a week.

It's like this - can you sit next to freshly baked cookies or other favorite food and just smell without eating it?

Right. I wasn't saying they never had sex.

OMG.

This is like taking an alcoholic to a typical news year eve party.

Spooning leads to forking.

You did not know that, OP??

Cuddling doesn't have to lead to sex. It's so pathetic that so many of you think this way.

Is this what you are teaching your children? Are you telling your daughter that if she cuddles with a guy she better be prepared to have sex with him. are you telling your son that if he cuddles with a girl he's owed sex.

You are overreaching, PP. I imagine this poster is reporting from a lifetime of experience with what happens when you try to cuddle with men of our generation, which may be very different from what (if anything) she teaches her kids about non-sexual affection. I can tell you that I have to announce to DH that I’m snuggling because I’m cold or feeling adrift or whatever, no matter if we had sex earlier that day. He gets it if I’m grieving, but not otherwise unless I spell it out. I do, and he’s fine.

DP.

Um - I think what she meant was that men are easily turned on. Don’t read too much into other posts.

Are you so easily triggered in real life?

Hahahahahaha! What? How did you get that from the post?

My husband is not a cuddler or a hand holder and, yes, cuddling leads to sex. But he is always very sweet and loving in a non physical way and I’m happy with that. He is a wonderful husband and father so I have no reason to complain. And the sex is great too!
