I imagine this poster is reporting from a lifetime of experience with what happens when you try to cuddle with men of our generation, which may be very different from what (if anything) she teaches her kids about non-sexual affection. I can tell you that I have to announce to DH that I’m snuggling because I’m cold or feeling adrift or whatever, no matter if we had sex earlier that day. He gets it if I’m grieving, but not otherwise unless I spell it out. I do, and he’s fine. [/quote]
