Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

The reason I don't believe her is because of her stupid promotion of the movie.

This is ridiculous - having poor judgement does not mean she was not sexually harassed and subject to a degrading work set.

Embracing her femininity and symbols of feminine power does not mean she was not sexually harassed.

Women can’t win / if she wore more masculine attire she would be criticized for not representing most victims of DV in the movie.

I believe her. The allegations were very specific and a number of people who worked with her on set are backing her version.

Agree, well said.

Why is there so much deflection from Baldoni and his role in this? It keeps coming back to "but I don't like her" as if that means he can do whatever he wants to her. He can't, as it turns out. Baldoni is a no name yet people refuse to condemn him or even mention the allegations against him it's all "But Blake...." from a few vocal posters.

Please tell me why she would enthusiastically promote the work of her alleged abuser. She is not new to Hollywood and doesn't need the money. So why did she go on TV smiling and promoting Baldoni's film?

I say this because I would never go out in public and enthusiastically promote the work of someone who abused and harassed me

And I'm wearing my florals today! Yeah, justice.

It was her movie too as a coproducer it’s a big financial investment she can’t just walk away from and she’s contractually obligated to do pr.

The alleged haraconvenient assault could be used as an argument to nullify her PR obligation. But she waited until the film stunk at the box office and her mean girl behavior was exposed.. It's all very conenient.

Mean girl? Grow up. Baldoni sounds like a harassing jerk.

Because stars of movies and tv shows are under contract to promote the movie/show when the time comes. They have to go on talk shows and do the press junkets. The studios and production companies have entire marketing teams devoted to promoting the movies and I don’t believe the stars have much say in how or where they promote.

She was objectively mean to that reporter in the interview with Parker Posey. Classic mean girl.

Another movie colleague (Jenny Skate who played Justin’s sister) came out in support of BL

Is that the worst of it? Maybe the reporter should have not mentioned her body. But keep trying to deflect. Fact is that's nothing compared to discussing your porn addiction, sucking someone's lip without consent, fat shaming, and leering at someone breast feeding. You know this.

Well that settles it. I am sure Baldoni will write her a giant check soon. Justice for Blake.

I work in a law firm where we are stiff and uptight. We don’t simulate sex, rape, or birth. Those things do happen on a Hollywood set. Some of the allegations are far more complex than you make it.
