WHEELS UP HEELS UP

Why would Whitmer agree to being the VP? I thought she had her eyes on 2028.

Whitmer, Newsom, and Shapiro have all said NO THANKS to Kamala

Source?

No, they have not said they. They are unifying behind her.

Who is ready for the “white lash” commentary from the talking heads when Harris gets absolutely smoked in the general?

This is all entertaining at least.

Asking this in good faith:
I read that some of his own senior aides knew nothing about this until they read it on Twitter. Do any of you think it is at all odd that they are not releasing a video? Does Joe even know about this? Does he actually have Covid? Will we see him in public again?
I honestly am wondering if he has suffered a stroke.

That’s what love of country looks like.

Selfless? He was forced out when all his big donors pulled their funding

Hillary is not running for office. She has endorsed Harris.

But nothing about this was selfless. He had no choice. It was that or the 25th Amendment. It really is so cute how Democrats keep insisting this was a “selfless” act. Nope.

Yet it was a selfless act after an amazing four years in which Biden and Harris lifted the country out of the ditch the GOP steered it into. It was an act of selflessness and sacrifice for a nation. Something that the GOP is so unfamiliar with that they don’t even recognize it.

If only Biden had thought to extract money from the Saudis and Qatar like the Kushners did, then the GOP would probably think that was pretty good.

My goodness, you really believe your own hype. Explains so much. There was nothing at all selfless about this. Biden waited until he was FORCED out. It’s like letting someone say they “resigned” so they don’t have to say they were fired.

President Biden’s announcement that he was dropping out of the 2024 race stunned a number of White House staffers who believed he would stay the course.

Many reportedly learned of the historic news from social media.

“We’re all finding out by tweet,” one Democrat close to the matter told Politico. “None of us understand what’s happening.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe found out about it by tweet too.

Biden's withdrawal letter was well written. His staffers didn't write it or even know about it? Did Jill help him write it? Or Hunter? Did he write it all himself (does he type or dictate?)?

Dems=all smoke and mirrors

Who was the wizard behind the curtain all these years? Obama?

Joe needs to resign today!

Literally anyone could see, for years, that Trump was and is in severe decline. Yet Republican voters didn't see it. At all.

It is a crisis, indeed.

Now he’s gone and the GOP is saddled with a mush brained traitor.

It's true that it's a setback for the GOP. Biden was the ideal adversary. That said, I don't think the Ds have the clarity of mind right now to pick a candidate that will appeal to most Americans.

Harris is the Biden Administration. She will keep on the steady path we are on.

Growing economy
Declining crime
Border is getting under control
Energy independence.
Global leadership.

Perhaps if this was against a “normal candidate”, but Trump is a deranged, old lunatic. Now that women’s reproductive rights are in the spotlight there is no better messenger than a woman. Trump ran against Hillary 8 years ago. He has clearly deteriorated since then.

Trump is old! He's old and senile and has dementia. Did anyone tell you that? He's also lost whatever luster and charm he had. His last speech confirmed it. He's tired. He's a "has-been". He has low energy. I don't know if he's up to another four years, folks. He's also a convicted felon and rapist and twice impeached. But even worse than that? He's yesterday's news!

Move over Trump. Put Vance in charge!

+1000. He is getting out because he was going to lose because of his disastrous policies. He was losing the battle ground states before the debate and he was losing them worse after the debate. The age issue is a convenient off ramp.

And I will enthusiastically go out to get votes for Harris.

Harris will always be herself - which is a bad temper, no manners, ill fitting pantsuits and faux pearls. The "face" she puts on for the public is who she is. She will never get the votes with it.

Clearly. That's why you and the trumpers are running around on social media rn like chickens with your head cut off.

That’s how deliriously happy people react. Dems are so busy being offended and enraged about stuff they don’t recognize pure joy when they see it.

I honestly don’t understand the deliriously happy reactions. The guy you were beating just stepped aside. I would think they’d want him to stay in the race.

Biden was the highest performing opponent in those polls.

No, he wasn't. Trump would prefer Biden. It's a known entity.

+1
That’s been his entire focus over the past 4 years.

+1 what personal aspect of Harris' life will Trump go after? How she's not a "real American", unlike his immigrant wife who used chain migration to bring her communist parents to the US?

Exactly.
“F Joe Biden!”
“Sleepy Joe”
“Let’s Go Brandon”
“Hey, he’s out! Hell yeah! Back to your basement sleepy Joe!”

“Ok. Now what…?”

Don’t fool yourselves. The GOP has the dark money to spend gathering intel and workshopping messages on all the Democrats, but they’d have that to go on any Democrat.

It’ll be a fairly quiet few days and then the right wing will begin disseminating their talking points to their online army and then there will be some talking point. They used up a bunch during the 2020 primary season, but they’ll be organized about it.

Let’s see it for what it is and ignore it. President Biden has urged us to unite behind VP Harris and I am going to. The GOP is posing the end of America, and while their drooling followers applaud it (while telling us it’s not the GOP’s agenda at all), we must oppose it. That way lies birth control banned, NOAA unfunded and no more weather forecasts, “illegal immigrants” rounded up (but more likely just brown people), and a destroyed government.

^^ This is the kind of unadulterated nonsense that makes normal people run away from the Democratic party. Just so unhinged and cringeworthy.

He was at Herring Point in Deleware all afternoon, no nap.

But nice try, though.
