. . . Crickets . . . |
I have noticed these things too and I so hope you're right. DP |
Exactly this. Well said. |
DP. When spoken, sure. When deliberately written on a DCUM post, the PP is correct. It's so stupidly transparent. |
Except that wasn't what was asked, was it? The question was: "How much influence do you think parents of K-12 students should have over what schools teach?" Again - how would you have worded that question? Actually, never mind. I really don't care how you would have worded it. |
This is how you justify denying abortion access to rape and incest victims? Some 12 year old child should have to go through pregnancy and child birth after being raped by her uncle so you can get a lower tax rate? |
+100 It's so laughable that liberals are calling for equal outcomes. Sounds a lot like communism or socialism. No thanks. |
Depends on how you define “outcome”. Obviously it’s impossible for every to get exactly the same job, for instance. As used in the context of equity in education, it’s generally considered to mean everyone is given the resources they need to fully access the curriculum and learn necessary skills and content to succeed as adults. People may choose to do different things with it, but no one’s outcome should be, for instance, that they are unable to pursue higher education because they were never given the opportunity and tools needed to learn to read beyond a fifth grade level. |
You make such a great case for voting for McAuliffe! What a spokesperson you are! ![]() ![]() |
+100 I can't even believe anyone would object to offering advanced math. |
The lefties (D's) can't seem to draw a line of modesty in the conversation. Indecency is how they wish to lead our country with their socialist policies. |
DP. Why don't you tell us which public schools you're referring to? |
Hats no what’s happening. VDOE has explicitly clarified that nothing in the new math pathways would prevent a school system from offering advanced math. It just restructures the traditional math pathways to focus on more useful/practical areas of math for students who don’t pursue advanced math. |
DP. Look at SOL scores for any school system in VA that isn’t all white and you’ll see what pp was talking about. |
Terry gave them the downpayment for their house in New York. Nice guy. |
