I notice that rich women of all ages are skinny and fit. Even as they get older.
How do you do this? |
| You must not know THAT many rich women, because they come in all sizes |
| I pay my trainer to exercise and eat for me. I just watch. YMMV |
| Simply Starvation cookbook. Check it out |
| Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels |
| I'm not skinny but I am rich. So.... I guess don't ask me. |
I'm not rich, but I am skinny.....don't ask me, either! |

Wouldn’t you like to know???
For me, weights/cardio (run, bike, swim, etc...) six days a week. Only eat one big meal (mainly vegetables, lean protein) around 2 pm. Small snack around 8. Early 50s. Reality is that you just have to limit your intake. Most folks don’t have the discipline to maintain. I’ve been same weight (+|- 5 pounds) since early 20s. It’s not easy and gets harder each year. |
Also, I don’t consider myself “skinny”. I’m fit. Thin, but muscular. |
How do you maintain the discipline? |
Not op. But also how did you do it while having kids? That’s been the hardest between my two kids and sleepless nights were I’ve kept the weight on. |
I don’t feel “normal” unless I workout. I’ve been doing it for so long that it’s just part of my life. I’ve had two major injuries, both caused me to be on crutches, for months. Even then, I still did something (chair cardio...look it up on YouTube). For food, I used to have a major sugar addiction until my mid 40s. Have greatly reduced my intake. The majority of my friends are also athletic/healthy lifestyles... Like them, I’ve transitioned to whole foods and clean eating past six or seven years. Has made a huge difference. I still allow myself treats, but only occasionally. I also don’t drink alcohol—mainly because I’m a lightweight and feel horrible the following day. I play a competitive sport (travel around the country for events) and want to be able to do so for decades to come. I will also say that being wealthy is nice, but my health is just as important to me. So I make it a priority. |
I was early 30s when I had my kids, three years apart. Baby Jogger for the first child. My husband and I did triathlons when they were young and we took turns working out/taking care of kids. My husband traveled extensively for several years when they were young kids. We had a treadmill and a spin bike at home. I’d workout when they slept/preschool. If your children are less than one year, don’t stress too much. I remember those days. I highly recommend getting a quality stroller so you can run/walk with them. If you don’t enjoy running, try lap swimming or spin bike. Go hard enough so that you are fatigued at end. |

I exercise hard- great for muscles and a huge metabolism boost. And I don’t mean phoning it in on an elliptical or barre class.
I eat a pretty big breakfast, light lunch (salad with roasted vegetables and some fruit or yogurt, even lighter dinner (maybe just a small piece of fish or half a chicken breast). I have a little dark chocolate daily. It really lifts my mood. If I’m going to have something unhealthy, I take a very small portion. Kids size ice cream, a couple bites of a birthday cake slice, only 1 small piece of pizza. I weigh myself daily. I really think that this is a key point to not gaining weight. If I start to creep up more than a few pounds I dial back my food amount. |
