Learn to tolerate being hungry. Seriously. I don’t drink on weekdays, don’t have dessert unless it’s a special occasion, nothing except water and tea (no sugar or honey). And I eat most of my bread/potatoes/pasta at breakfast and lunch. Dinner is off of salad plates and is meat/fish and veg. I’m rarely very full after dinner and wake up hungry every day. Now I don’t mind, I’m not as fit as I’d like as I have no time to work out right now. After a couple years of this I’m totally used to being a little hungry. I indulge at parties etc and frankly always feel unpleasant when that full. |
Eat a lot less. Skip meals, or eat tiny ones. Very few carbs. Your stomach will shrink and you'll get more accustomed to it.
Working out is important too if you want to look/feel good of course, but the real answer is do not eat much. |
Every time you want to eat while at home watch a clip from my 600 lb life as a deterrent |
OK, I'll bite since I'm thin, have really toned arms and legs, and am relatively well-off. I work out 4 days a week, including once with a personal trainer - 2 days of cardio, 1 day weights and 1 day yoga. I have a protein smoothie for breakfast every day and try to eat tons of green vegetables and lean meats. I don't really drink and don't smoke, except the occasional toke on the weekends. My downfall is sweets. I love dark chocolate and cookies and indulge several times a week. That said, I also have a husband, two kids who play travel sports, a dog, a cat, and a demanding job so working out gives me the natural endorphins that is better than the prozac I would be otherwise pouring down my throat to deal with our hectic lives. |
Being rich allows you to outsource everything so you have the entire day to exercise and sleep. And rich people can afford to easily eat/buy healthy foods.

I’m rich and thin but I am rich because I have a very well paid job so not sure if I am one of the women OP is talking about. I workout every day. Crossfit 6 days and yoga 1 day. Like PP I don’t eat a lot - I tend to skip meals a bit and don’t eat sugar at all. I do drink wine which is my worst habit. Although I work full time, DH is studying so does all the kid stuff plus makes meals, sorts out the house etc. As a result I am not particularly stressed which helps. |
Rich people have lots off money to throw at being thin... Trainers, prepared meal plans, medical care is they starve themselves.
And, another vote for cocaine. I asked a rich friend in college how she stayed so thin, and that was her answer. She also exercised constantly and starved herself. |
plastic surgery. the "mommy makeover" and other assorted stuff. |
