No way! The time-jumps alone disqualify it from anything close to Lifetime. Plus the clues (at least I hope they’re clues) prohibit you from doing chores while you watch like you can with Lifetime.

I really like it, OP, and will love it if theclues pay off.

Yes! So fun and over the top, with lots of surprises. It reminds me a bit of the movie Wild Things (I know, I know but it was fun).

I just watched this show this week. I'm interested to see how it comes out. What is everyone's theory about whether Jeanette knew about Katie? I'm going to say no--that Katie made it up because she was jealous of how easily Jeannette replaced her in her friend circle.

I like it. So far I’m thinking Katie saw Jeanette during one of her many break-ins, but Jeanette didn’t actually see Katie. They’re always playing up the lighting and mirrors in that basement, so maybe that will come into play, like it only looked to Katie like she locked eyes with Jeanette, but Jeanette saw nothing but shadows.

Another more far-fetched theory - Jeanette’s mom is the one who saw Katie and left her there so her daughter could stay popular. Katie blamed Jeanette for revenge.

So glad I found this thread. I like it a lot so far, but I tend to like more YA stuff (even though I’m 35…)

I think Kate saw Jeanette breaking into the house but Jeanette didn’t see Kate. I think Kate saw Jeanette with Jamie and felt even more traumatized being in that basement. So she convinced herself that Jeanette saw her and was purposefully not telling to keep her life. Of course, Jeanette doesn’t want to tell anyone she kept breaking into Martin’s house….

We shall see….

Agree the mom is involved some how.
