It’s not a show that would easily have a second season as it’s more of a mystery that should be solved by the end unless they do some sort of cliffhanger…. |
| I hadn't heard of this, but thank you for an awesome binge watch yesterday!!! |
Thanks for the heads up! I didn’t realize. Maybe I’ll check it out |
| Yes it's pretty good! |
| It’s so good! I really have to pay attention to this show (unlike most) and it’s fun! |
| It gives me a 13 Reasons Why vibe. Which I also liked, and you wouldn't think could've had multiple seasons, but did. So far I like it. |
I hated 13 reasons why, but I love this show. |
| I love this show! Although I’m sorry I didn’t wait to binge it. It’d be a perfect binge show. |

I’m hooked on this show! But....does anyone else feel like the premise is super weak? Couldn’t Jeanette just do an interview, like Kate did, and say “I didn’t see her, if I did I would have helped her - I feel terrible that she’s going through this, etc.” and be done with it? It makes no sense that they would sue Kate. I don’t think it even fits the legal definition of defamation (which IIRC requires intentional malice) and would get thrown out.
That said, I can’t wait for the next episode. |
|
This show is surprisingly good! I’m totally hooked.
And, to the above, Jeanette could have done an interview and say she never saw Kate but she isn’t as sympathetic as the poor girl locked in the basement. Plus she’d have to admit that she used to break into that house all the time. Side note: Tennille’s mother is a total skank! |
|
This is the first time the mother has been sympathetic. I really felt sorry for her this episode.
Good, good show! Anyone know how many there are? That was number 6. |
|
There’s no way that Kate imagined seeing Jeanette while she was being held captive so it has to be that Jeanette was there, Kate saw her, but imagined that Jeanette saw her?
I just can’t see the Jeanette we know so far as having seen Kate and just didn’t tell anyone. |
| I think Jamie actually sits in front of Jeanette’s house to protect her from Kate. It’s meant to look like he’s stalking her and crazy. I think something went down between him and Kate that convinced him Kate was lying and dangerous. |
|
Just heard an intriguing theory....what if the mirror in the basement is a two-way mirror? So Kate thinks they locked eyes, but Jeanette was just looking at her own reflection? I feel like this would help them tie everything up into a neat little package: neither were lying.

I am totally enthralled with this show!
