What swimsuit are you buying this year and why?

Trying to get inspired to buy a new suit without trying on in person. What suit are you buying and why (e.g. want to conceal some COVID weight or reveal a hot post-quarantine bod, found something super cute, or just the first thing that caught your eye)?

Ugh, still looking. I want a one piece but have a long torso and a somewhat hard to fit body and am feeling super uninspired by what I’m finding online. Hopefully someone will post something good to the thread!

I love the Sumersalt one pieced bathing suits that are called the sidestroke (one shoulder). I am athletic with a large ribcage/chest circumference (think gymnast). If you have boobs, this is not the suit for you: https://www.summersalt.com/collections/swimwear/products/sidestroke

Will you wear a tankini that actually meets in the middle? If so, try Nautica. I have a bunch of them (that all desperately need to be replaced). I'm 5'10, 120, and have an A cup. Nautica and sometimes Lands End suits work; so many other suits look TERRIBLE on me. But I've found that a tankini is the way to go.

I am committed to a one piece (have plenty of two pieces and it’s just not what I want right now) but I will check out those brands!

I got one of these! I have a swimmer’s build. I also got this one from Summersalt: https://www.summersalt.com/collections/one-pieces/products/the-fused-river-orchid

I’m not trying to hide anything, just wanted something more fun than my usual swim shorts and rash guard. I love the colors of these, especially.

I’m a 34DDD so had to go with Bare Necessities for swimsuits with actual fitted cups for larger busts. They have bra cups in their swimsuits for all sizes, though.

Aerie has Tall sizes for their one piece. Their suits fit me well.

I got this for spring break:

I know it looks so frumpy, and honestly I normally wear bikinis, but this is the first one piece I liked (and my husband likes too). Make sure to get the ribbed or ripple fabric. Looks cute with cutoff Jean shorts on top
