Celebrities and Politicians we suspect are narcissists.

I’ll start:

Meghan Markle
Gwenyth Paltrow
Madonna
Possibly: Donald Trump. (I say possibly because his adult kids seem to really love him and that is not typical of a narcissistic parent)
Jennifer Lawrence

So many to list...

Why do you think Jennifer Lawrence is a narcissist? Do you really understand what it means to be one? It's a real, clinical diagnosis. I'll give you Trump for sure because of COURSE he has a self-inflated sense of his own importance.

I'm not sure about Gwenyth, only because of this clip, which makes it seem like she fights against the urge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O501taSRvIc

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
Bill Clinton

I don’t have evidence on Jennifer Lawrence like the others, it’s just a hunch based on my many decades of living with a true narcissist. But I concede to you that I may be wrong on her.

Simon Cowell
Piers Morgan
Sharon Osborne
Kevin Spacey

Gwenyth is a narcissist. She needs her narcissistic supply any way she can get it. She’s also very skilled at acting “humble”.

Also, don’t forget: she f**ked Harvey Weinstein for her Oscar. Then she had the audacity to get out in front of the *me too movement because it fulfilled her narcissistic supply. She is disgusting.

Oooh Kevin Spacey is textbook. Good one.

Newsflash: they’re all narcissists. Some just disguise it better than others.

I don’t think Robin Williams was. Or Marilyn Monroe, or Nancy Pelosi, or AOC, or Cris Evans, or Matt Damon, or ....

Statistically, men are much more likely to be narcissists than women.

A lot of the women claimed to be narcissists in this thread are likely just deeply insecure and dependent on the positive attention they get via fame to feed their insecurity. That is NOT narcissism. It’s a problem, but would not qualify as NPD. Narcissists have low self-esteem but go to great lengths to conceal that fact from themselves and others, to the point that they will tear down others rather than admit any weakness or vulnerability. An actress who seems a little needy does not qualify— who is she destroying?

Trump is almost certainly a narcissist and is a perfect example of what I was just discussing. On some level he knows that he is incompetent, but his obvious fear of that fact leads to insane self aggrandizement (“I have the best words” “I am the least racist person” etc.). His kids don’t love him in a normal way and their relationships don’t reflect healthy parent-child dynamics. There is clearly codependency and enmeshment going on, and as his kids self identify with him, they become his fiercest defenders, because you admit his flaws would be to admit their own. It is a truly disturbing dynamic and there is nothing admirable about his relationship with his kids, some of whom obviously have their own narcissistic tendencies (both Don Jr. and Ivanka reportedly believe they, too, are destined for high office). Also, Jared Kushner is right there and maybe actually be the worst of all of them.

I agree with this. You must see the narcissism of Meghan Markle, no? Also, the fact that Trump has ALL of his kids so devoted to him is still a positive indication that he may not be a true narcissist. (I did not vote for Trump FYI)

I wish we could feed Tiffany truth serum and then get her to do a tell-all interview.
