I’ve seen signs popping up about opposing River’s “new plan.” Anyone know what that plan is?

They are hoping to open a new campus in Tenleytown. I went to the website on the signs, but there wasn't much more information available there.

A neighbor who backs up to the property that River is looking into wants to stop it and has blanketed the neighborhood with the signs.

I am all for River getting a different location if it enables them to better serve their mission.

I also read that they were planning to expand up to 6th grade, if they move to the Tenleytown campus (its on Nebraska near the AU law school, I believe). Anyone know for sure what their plan is?

What building do they plan to use?

If it's an existing non-residential space, I don't see how the neighbor can complain. If you live in a city, you're going to interact with other people.

I wonder what will move into their current space.

They would be building a new building at the corner of Nebraska, Van Ness and 41st St.

I hope it happens, it would be great for both the school and the neighborhood.

They bought a mansion that’s fenced in entirely so it’s hard to see from the street. Very close to Van Ness and Nebraska intersection on Nebraska.
