Some people do. Others screen out. We've found a lot of these grads are too entitled and not willing to put in extra hours or take direction gracefully. I no longer look at top 20 unless I have a rec. from a colleague I really trust. We much prefer a really motivated hire from mid tier.

Goldman, MBB, the top hedge funds and even tech startups, however, keep hiring elite grads, even a few years out of college.

You are mistaken about the importance to these companies....

Duke and Johns Hopkins and Northwestern are meh. The rest of the Ivies are where you go when you end up after being rejected from above.

Wow, is this really how you see the world? How elitist, arrogant and misinformed you are.

Who really cares.....promoting these sort of stereotypes is one factor that is driving the increased stress and mental health issues for our teenagers. Enjoy life. Go to a school that fits you. Screw the ratings.

Good thing that you brough up Northwestern. Thank you.

Afterall who whould make the best objective evaluation and judgements removing all the bullshits?
The ones who actually pay for the graduates, the outcome of the colleges/universities.
They would pay more for the Northeastern graduates than Northwestern graduates.

First number is tuition.
The sccond number is salary score.
Higer score = Higher salary.

Does this take into account COL?

Probably doesn’t help its score that a big chunk of NWU’s students go into the arts, music, journalism, theater, etc. I have a very, very hard time believing that a NEU degree is more valuable than a NWU degree on the job market.
