I don’t remember all this Hate when Katie Perry wrote teenage dream… It’s in a very similar vein. |
Well, Taylor and Gracie have both spoken about what inspired this song so I guess if you’re really Fans, you already know what they said about it… |
This man is growing on me. I find him charming and articulate:

Katy Perry wrote an angsty song at 24. Taylor has albums of angsty songs at 34. One of these things is it like the other. |
You joke, but the style and even the shape of this English countryside cottage is the same as her Folklore & Evermore moss-covered house on the Eras set!! |
People who know the Haylor timeline will understand that Matty was her rebound guy then too. Also, most of reputation is not about Matty. She and Joe dated and secret before they finally went public. She cheated on TH with him. |
+1 I agree with him, too. |
Joe had no reputation whatsoever, so the lines "big reputations, we'd be a big conversation" and "you so dope, don't overdose", do not make sense for Joe. She also made nods to The 1975's song Robbers in Ready For It. |
Agree 1000%. She's going to be bitter over this one for awhile. He's truly brilliant. |
There is no way Dancing With Our Hands Tied on Reputation is not about Matty. She again references being 25 in that song, as in the songs about him on TTPD. They were both 25 when they first dated in 2014 (both born in 1989). |
Or the drugs |

OMG, thanks for posting this link. I love this kid. |
Taylor is that annoying theater kid who wants to pair up with other theater kids. Travis is like the well-known football player who joined theater for the attention and girls; he plays the comic relief. Matt is the clever outlier who joined theater because he likes pretending to be someone else; he plays the lead's best friend.
No combination is a good one. In the end, none of the three will compromise as much as they would want a romantic partner of theirs to compromise. |
Is he bi-sexual? A lot of his interviews allude to his attraction to men. |
