You can add that, but it mostly likely has something to do with a russian oligarch. It's probably Firtash but I'm sure we'll find out when the charges are brought.

LOL you say this like Ukraine doesn't have homegrown oligarchs.

Mystery solved. It was Kostyantyn Zhevago who was arrested last year in France under an international arrest warrant as part of an investigation into embezzlement of $113 million from JSC Finance and Credit Bank. Nothing juicy. The most interesting thing about it is that it's an example of Ukraine successfully battling corruption.

Now, back to Pirozghin, Luka, and Russia's unique combination of general incompetence and widespread crimes against humanity.

That wouldn't be fun at all. Notwithstanding Putin being a fascist aggressor who ordered an unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, those Russian cities are packed full of men, women, and children that I assume I would like very much if I ever got a chance to know them.

You are correct. The previous statement was no doubt written by someone who has never been endangered by any sort of war, and is not planning to go and help Ukraine fight.
I hear some of this sentiment from those who had left Ukraine many years ago (citing corruption, low quality of life, antisemitism and what not) but now are suddenly full of bloodthirst to those who have nothing to do with decision making and are suffering from those decisions (though yes to a much lesser extent than many Ukrainians).

DP what bullsh#t answer. Russians need to feel the full horror of what they have done in the Ukraine. It is past time to destroy Russians civilian infrastructure and target civilians through out Russia.

Yes they gave a bs answer. Yes it would be a great bit of schadenfreude for the Russian population, that is so full of blood lust that they cheer on and celebrate rape, torture, and the bombing of kindergartens, to feel the suffering they have imposed on others themselves. Nevertheless, it is not in Ukraine's interests to do so. Besides, the Russian Army rapes themselves constantly, both literally and figuratively. Of course that doesn't mean that a sojourn through Belgorad is off the table or that bases in Rostov are unacceptable targets.

I know quite a few Russians and they are scared and sad about this war.
It was not their choice.
I know there are different ones too but they aren’t all like that.
I know it’s a thing to hate on Russians now though

Lol, Russians aren't victims. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5yvjyJdDW0

Many are.
Many didn’t choose the war

Nah. This is not Iraq. And Iraq is the last war in a 100 years that is suspect for an American “invasion”. Even if Iraq was unjustified America still was not as evil as Russia in the execution of the war. And Iraq was after America went thru 9/11; which was not an ideological attack- it was a real attack.

Russians have been orcs/savages long before February of 2022; just now the world gets to see how despicable their culture and government really is.

Russia has been doing this (on a smaller scale) for over 20 years; they just got caught being greedy and are back to being the scourge of the planet with North Korea.

When you talk about the culture of savages with corrupt government you cannot separate the two countries. Ukraine and Russian people are the same. Many Ukrainians in rural areas can’t even speak the Ukrainian language. They feel more Russian than Ukrainian. Their governments worked together with regard to corruption.

Russia being ruthless is not News to too many people. And when it comes to war we’ve seen inhumane brutality with random countries. Because Germany was so heinous and apparently not alone in their antisemitism it gave Japan some room to hide their own brutality. Russia doesn’t stand alone in terms of war. Ukraine needs to negotiate. Who are we to tell other countries to have family members killed or maimed ? I hope they end it soon.

Awwww poor little paid troll in a propaganda center is sad that it’s not going well over there. I mean I guess your leader can pose shirtless on a horse again to look tough and can conscript a few hundred thousand more poor souls to fight while they heavily drunk Stolichnya all day, but really they should just go home. It’s sad and it’s stupid. It needs to stop. The second you leave is when it stops. And no Ukraine and Russia are not the same as evidenced by the incredible pushback against this illegal war.

There is no meaningful difference between Putin on a horse and Zelensky in skintight khakis.

Other than one being a corrupt authoritarian loser and the other being a strong leader who has the power and strength to protect his people from a hostile aggressor, sure!

Look at you throwing around the word "authoritarian" like it's a bad thing!

Here's a charming piece of news for your midday chow: despite singing pretty songs about the last stand of democracies vs. authoritarian baddies, last year, the U.S. cheerfully sold advanced weaponry to more than half of all authoritarian regimes on this planet:

https://theintercept.com/2023/05/11/united-states-foreign-weapons-sales/
"The reality, however, is that the Biden administration has helped increase the military power of a large number of authoritarian countries. According to an Intercept review of recently released government data, the U.S. sold weapons to at least 57 percent of the world’s autocratic countries in 2022."

Quick!! Look over there!!

Don't sell advanced weaponry to dictators and there won't be anything to look at. Especially while littering the airwaves with how much you hate authoritarian regimes!

lol. Silly bot. No one is getting sidetracked by your advanced ability to try and derail the conversation with non-germane comments and whataboutism.

Russia out of Ukraine. Get it? The world wants Russia out of Ukraine because Russia invaded it and is the aggressor. Get it, not? Again, with your stupid distractions ignored, this thread is about how Ukraine is putting up an incredible fight against Russia who invaded it. It invaded it with a big drunk army of poor men who really don’t want to be there. So they should get out and stop attacking. Mmmkay? Now go get a software upgrade to ChatGPT 2.0 or whatever budget azz AI they have where you are. It’s still crystal clear you are a propaganda bot here to deflect from the actual problem of Russia invading Ukraine.

LOL I've been on DCUM long enough to see how weirdly touchy Americans become when you remind them that the world's most oppressive, authoritarian, theocratic monarchies of the Gulf call America their best friend and ally. It's just not a point to which they have a good rebuttal (how can they? 'tis true). So all they do is froth at the mouth.

Hi, no one cares or is talking about this. If you haven’t noticed this is a thread about how Russia illegally invaded Ukraine and is now getting cucked on the world stage. Thanks for trying to distract again, you paid propagandist.

Of course you don't care - who cares about being exposed for their hypocrisy?

Talk about Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine all you want.

But anytime you bring up anything about "the global battle of authoritarian regimes vs democracies", I'll be here to rub the American love affair with the Gulf dictatorships in your face. You don't get to kiss Al-Saud's bum for years and call yourself a defender of democracies. Well you won't, not in this thread.

That’s great. No one cares. Your propagandist attempts at derailing the conversion have failed.

Again, Russia is the aggressor here and we all support Ukraine. K thx bai.

You are weirdly emotional about this and I must say I enjoy baiting you, madam movement spokesperson, "we all".

PS: you failed at spelling "conversation".

It’s clear you like bating. Your probably siting at your little rinky dink Windows 7 running Russia laptop bating right now in between spewing the classic “Russian firehose of disinformation” on this thread.

Again, no more deflection, no more stupid whataboutism (no one cares about the Gulf), it’s simple, to ensure peace Russia needs to leave Ukraine.

LOL you're so bad at thread policing, it's not even funny. For a lover of democracy, you're weirdly intolerant of different views. I mean, start a chorus if you like everyone singing together!

You guys still trading cars for Levi’s 501s over there? Sorry you lost all your McDonalds’s, too. Anyway, I’m over here laughing as your economy crumbles because you tools decided to invade Ukraine and the world is banding against you in retaliation. I’m sure you’ll be back in good shape in no time. See ya later propagandist or bot or whatever you are “peacenik”.

LOL yes, it's the world if you only count white people. But then you probably do. Alive or dead.

"Your economy?" Honey, I'm local to this area, and a better speller than you. It's not my economy.

Sounds like a Russian bot response. Or a propagandist. Either way, we can all agree that Russia should leave Ukraine BECAUSE IT ILLEGALLY INVADED THAT COUNTRY.

Your opposition to illegal invasions, no, ILLEGAL INVASIONS, is well noted. It will come handy one day, I'm sure.

I’m impressed with the skill at which you bots can reply with human like affectation.

Just so everyone is on the same page, when they call you bots, its the same as calling you goyim or cattle. They truly believe only they are human. Its why they are willing to sacrifice every Ukrainian to get their way, and would sacrifice you and your kids if you let them as well.

Fking bots man. You guys are getting good! Sadly, the sentient world still sees through your propaganda and supports Russia leafing Ukraine and fking off home again. Okay, have a great a night.

Interesting you chose to include the word “Goyim”. Russia was using the false claim that Ukraine was filled with Nazis, as a pretense to invade and “denazify” the country. Why did you use goyim in your post? It’s an obviously falsehood that Ukraine had a Nazi problem, but I’m very curious as to how that word ended up in your bot post. I mean it’s fascinating the see real propaganda in real time. It’s incredible how sophisticated the internet has become that in probably conversing with a bot spewing Russian bs.

It was only after this war started that Ukraine removed some Nazi imagery. The Azov Battalion is a primary issue with regard to neo-Nazis.
Russia was using it as an excuse, but there is a significant pro-Nazi contingent in Ukraine.

Oh yes. Here we go again. I still remember when the stupid Russian propaganda trolls were calling Poroshenko "porky" on the Yahoo blogs on Ukraine, but since most Americans didn't know who he was it fell on deaf ears..

Here's your Nazi -
"Ukraine is to be liquidated as a nation." "Either we win or no one in the world can stay alive"
https://www.tagesschau.de/faktenfinder/russische-propaganda-100.html

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming.. it was a busy day.

I had missed these since it seems someone at U.S. Google is filtering news articles that portray Russia in a negative light? I had to pull this from overseas.

"Leading propagandist Margarita Simonian appealed to Vladimir Putin to indicate the "red line", the moment after which the Kremlin is left only with an atomic threat."
https://www.onet.pl/kultura/onetkultura/propaganda-kremla-sie-niecierpliwi-padaja-pytania-o-czerwona-linie/kx32hp1,681c1dfa

Look carefully at the original video. [0:38/1:14] Simonyan is careful to say there are red lines, but no one knows what they are. "We can only guess what is hidden under this wording." But this is the phrase I'm keying in on.
"What comes next is really only the option of the Cuban Missile Crisis and the nuclear ultimatum."
https://twitter.com/Gerashchenko_en/status/1658071544013127682?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1658071544013127682%7Ctwgr%5E3b3f110a05942370e4c78749a6ba906b09cb113a%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fpulsembed.eu%2Fp2em%2F3NNZE9nhM%2F

In other news..

"The FSB has developed an instruction according to which the security forces will be able to conduct inspections of houses, apartments and cars without a court decision."
https://www.vedomosti.ru/society/news/2023/05/16/975200-fsb-predlozhila-razreshit-silovikam-provodit-obiski?utm_campaign=vedomosti_public&utm_content=975200-fsb-predlozhila-razreshit-silovikam-provodit-obiski

Finally..

Also, Julia Davis (the Queen of anti-propaganda) has been officially sanctioned by the Russian Government.

Anonymous wrote:I really want to see Ukraine start hitting western Russian cities. That would be fun to see Russians finally getting a taste of their own medicine.
The problem is Ukraine has to use its own weapons to blow up stuff in Russia so it will be a while for the fun to begin.

Ukraine's Nazi problem was widely reported on in the West before the war. But after the invasion the media got the message that this is no longer fit to print. The great thing about American censorship is that it is voluntary and so willingly embraced.

But yes. You've shown quite clearly that you don't consider anyone who disagrees with you human.

It was only after this war started that Ukraine removed some Nazi imagery. The Azov Battalion is a primary issue with regard to neo-Nazis.
Russia was using it as an excuse, but there is a significant pro-Nazi contingent in Ukraine.

Yeah, I’ll go with The NY Times on the issue Mr. Bot. Thanks, though.

Let's not forget the history of cheerful collaboration during the real Nazi occupation! That, too, became unfit to print.

Well, no, the most interesting thing is that this guy was able to become a top Supreme Court judge. You don't suppose he just magically became dirty overnight? You don't honestly believe he's a cultural outlier?

And did you not see the part about him being caught, kicked off the court and presumably prosecuted? It's a fantastic story about Ukraine cleaning itself up. Breaking from the Russian model.

And then there's the prosecuting and doggedly pursuing an oligarch for years part. For a white collar crime no less. I'm glad they caught them and I'm glad that they're not just playing lip service.

To do all this while Russia has invaded them, bombs their cities, rapes anything that moves, tortures and massacres, and calls for their extermination. When their very existence is on the line and bad news could really hurt them. That's dedication and that's principle. That's also why they're winning this war.

Meanwhile, jailed 3 of their leading scientists, the ones that invented the khinzal no less, for treason. Their offense, speaking at conferences abroad and publishing science articles.

Putin and Russia invaded Ukraine. When they get the f**k out of there, we can get back to worrying about Ukrainian imperfections.

In the meantime:

An open letter calling for a swift diplomatic end to the war in Ukraine was published on Tuesday in the New York Times. The letter’s 14 signatories consisted mostly of former U.S. military officers and other national security officials, including Jack Matlock, Washington’s former ambassador to the Soviet Union; Ann Wright, a retired U.S. Army colonel and former diplomat; Matthew Hoh, a former Marine Corps officer and State Department official; and Ret. Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, who served as Secretary of State Colin Powell’s Chief of Staff.
