Did Prigozhin give Ukraine the coordinates of Russian command centers? Was Lukashenko poisoned in Moscow last week? Are the Russians ever going to take Bakhmut? What air defense doing? Shouldn't the French version of stormshadow be called snake-eyes? Why did the Russians attack Ternopil with missiles?
Let's add one more: What decision was Ukraine's top Supreme Court judge paid three million dollars to deliver?
You can add that, but it mostly likely has something to do with a russian oligarch. It's probably Firtash but I'm sure we'll find out when the charges are brought.
LOL you say this like Ukraine doesn't have homegrown oligarchs.
Mystery solved. It was Kostyantyn Zhevago who was arrested last year in France under an international arrest warrant as part of an investigation into embezzlement of $113 million from JSC Finance and Credit Bank. Nothing juicy. The most interesting thing about it is that it's an example of Ukraine successfully battling corruption. Now, back to Pirozghin, Luka, and Russia's unique combination of general incompetence and widespread crimes against humanity.
Well, no, the most interesting thing is that this guy was able to become a top Supreme Court judge. You don't suppose he just magically became dirty overnight? You don't honestly believe he's a cultural outlier?
And did you not see the part about him being caught, kicked off the court and presumably prosecuted? It's a fantastic story about Ukraine cleaning itself up. Breaking from the Russian model. And then there's the prosecuting and doggedly pursuing an oligarch for years part. For a white collar crime no less. I'm glad they caught them and I'm glad that they're not just playing lip service. To do all this while Russia has invaded them, bombs their cities, rapes anything that moves, tortures and massacres, and calls for their extermination. When their very existence is on the line and bad news could really hurt them. That's dedication and that's principle. That's also why they're winning this war. Meanwhile, jailed 3 of their leading scientists, the ones that invented the khinzal no less, for treason. Their offense, speaking at conferences abroad and publishing science articles. https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2023/05/16/3-russian-hypersonic-missile-scientists-jailed-for-treasoncolleagues-say-a81155 http://itam.nsc.ru/about/news/2023-05-15.html
