See I found her earlier stuff very just fun, light pop. Her two albums she put out this year? I LOVE. I listen to them nonstop while working from home. They are more folk inspired than pop though, which speak to 41 year old me more than some of her earlier stuff.

I’m the exact opposite. I used to think she was so overrated, and asked my DH to attend the 1989 concert with my then-tween DD instead of me; I just had no interest.

Well, I came to appreciate 1989 and every album thereafter, and I’m completely obsessed with Folklore and Evermore. I’m a true fan and I can no longer deny her extraordinary talent.
