Resource officers often cover multiple campuses. Maybe they had a doctor's appointment that morning. |
I thought they were still blaming the 911 operator. Man the OIC and mayor are untouchable. They must be republicans in good standing. Did we ever find out what happened to the towns swat team? The police did not even attempt to get the children in the other classes out of the building. |
Yes, but that's not when he went |
That’s not a security plan, obviously. My kids school has multiple security officers on campus all day long and they screen everyone at the door. |
The only reason he didn’t kill 20 more kids is he never suspected the incompetence of the police and was hiding in the closet expecting an assault force to barge in and kill him. |
+1 |
I think I saw that there were 5 officers dedicated to it, so it wasn't just one guy running between campuses and no cover. |
They had an award ceremony in the morning with parents coming in. If the killer had shown up earlier he would have entered the school with the parents. It’s not like he was short on ammo. Was the resource office was there for the awards ceremony…most likely so. This is a stupid tangent to go down. The resource office would have been killed quickly and the killer would gain access to to the school. 19 police officers with body armor and assault rifles were scare to go in because they were out gunned. What’s a resource officer going to do? I wonder why the resource officer or the watch commander did not have a master key for the school? It is SOP. Also why did it take so long for officers to get there? The guy fired rounds at the funeral home. The police station is less then a mile away. |
This does not make sense. There was an awards ceremony in the am. It really does not fit the time line. |
Whoever made up this story likely forgot that. Give them some time to make up another one now. No matter how you cut it, the police failed this community greatly. |
| WHERE WAS THE SWAT TEAM ? ? ? |
| Any word about the swat team? They just did not show up? I bet they are still drawing pay. |
|
Yeah, has anyone addressed the missing SWAT team? Where the heck were they?
If it comes out that they were on a "team building" junket there will be hell to pay. |
Busy taking cosplay pics for social media, I think. Maybe getting ready to head over to the NRA convention. |
| Uvalde, a town of about 16,000, is spending $4.4 million, or 38%, of its $11.5 million budget for 2021-2022 on its 40-member police force. |
