If you are stocking up in late Dec 2020, what are you buying and what are you unable to find?

I’m shopping for three households so I will spend most of the mid day through early afternoon stocking up. I have specific lists, but am curious what others are buying or can’t find.

Was not really stocking up in a big way, but hit wegmans very early this AM for what i intend to be our last grocery trip of 2020.
There were NO shortages that I could see and no limits on items.

That’s great! Maybe I will make that one of my stops. I know we’re supposed to limit stops, but I have to go to Costco to get my mom’s incontinence underwear. Costco doesn’t carry all the groceries we need. I finally got all three households on the same egg resupply schedule so we can share a pack of Costco eggs.

My mom had me go to a store to buy her paper towels because her Wegmans was limiting customers to 1 package or two rolls. She has an unhouse trained puppy - she needs those paper towels!

Candy canes. I've been to three stores and I can't find them.

Specifically -- the mini sized red and white striped ones. I can get weird colors or mega huge ones.

Nothing really. We have been buying a pack of toilet paper or paper towels every other week so our supply is very stocked. Other than that, there isn't anything we are worried about running out of

In general its been fine but add things will turn up running out at multiple stores but return a few weeks later. Its hard to predict.

1. Coffee filters
2. Powdered sugar
3. Hollandaise sauce mix
4. Frozen apple turn overs

I've been finding everything and haven't seen any limits on items (urban northeast). I am really stocked up, so planning to do a modified no-buy January (I'll just get fresh fruit and vegetables).

We have found seltzer to be the only thing that has low stock/limited availability.

Stocking up why?

Please tell me there isn’t a run on sugar. I just ran out. I also am about to run out of flour. Plan to go tomorrow and buy two bags of each. Not me hoarding, but I still have a lot of baking to do.
