I never knew such thought existed until coming to this website.
Do the number of children I chose to have say something about what kind of person I am?!?! |
| no. |
| Of course it does, but it doesn't say you are GOOD or BAD. Every person has different priorities, values, backgrounds, financial situations, and we are even getting into what the spouse thinks. The only person YOU should reflect on is yourself. |
| My (only) one child says that we're older new parents with a lot of student loan debt! |
| .. that you are definately NOT infertile. Other than that I cannot think of any other message that it conveys. |

3=foolish
more than 3= gross. |
| 3=didn't plan to have TWINS! |
LOL! Agree! |
why do you think three or more is foolish and gross? |
Fertile myrtle here...feeling blessed and not "gross" |
| More than 2 says you're not a control freak. |
Perhaps if you were the parent, it would indeed be foolish, primarily because you are quite evidently a fool. And more than three children is "gross"? Are you in junior high? |
And that you were able to conceive more than two...not the case for everyone even if they want more than two (or one). |
I think this says more about you than anyone else. Gross. |

all pretty funny because I ended up with a number I never would have picked for myself.
We have 2. I always said I would have only 1 or 3. Loved being a parent so had #2....now I know I couldn't handle chaos of 3. I am the youngest of 3 and liked the dynamics of it growing up. I felt 2 offered to much comparison and competition between the siblings. However, now that I am here this # seems perfect for us. The whole thing is ridiculous because ppl face fertility issues or abundant # of children due to fertility procedures, some didn't find a significant other until late in life; some married young, some waited, etc. I really have never looked at anybody and the # of their children and concluded anything....well--- I always look at the parents with alot of kids and think 'they must have much more tolerance for chaos then I do'--but I do not mean that in a bad way. |
