Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)
We need to take precautions for a good year or two. Is it really that hard for you? It is fatal to many. It is serious to many. And, triple vaccinated means nothing and kids cannot be triple vaccinated except if you are lying to get the shots. And, now standard sounds like 4 shots. Maybe it is time to rethink that if everyone is vaccinated that is enough strategy as its not working. |
| A word to the wise: Do not engage with the PP. Just look away. |
|
Calm down everyone. Public schools will close only if hospitals saturate. If you want schools open, exercise a little care when socializing and out and about. |

Every single person who got Covid is because of irresponsible behavior? It’s hard to take you seriously at all |
Why? Because you don’t want to face uncomfortable realities? |
| People - you have gotten good advice. Don't engage with the behavior poster. Just let it go. You are wasting your time. |
Ok, well why don’t you set up a Zoom call with the 7.9 billion humans on the planet and roll out your bad behavior lecture. Just get everybody to behave for a year or two. |
pretty zoom crashes with only a few thousands connections. our network is not that good. |
A single death or a few thousand cases will shut down MCPS. Hopefully it won’t happen this winter. |
Even if we have a death or a few thousand cases, it will not shut down. We've had 1229 since the beginning of the year. This doesn't include cases in the last week so its probably up to 1300. We've had several outbreaks at several schools. |
Kids have been killed on their way to and from school. MCPS didn't shut down. |
Private school in MD is going virtual. https://wtop.com/montgomery-county/2021/12/private-high-school-in-montgomery-co-shifts-online-after-covid-case-spike/ It looks like there Omicron varient is going to be dangerous than anything and looks like MCPS will go vitrual for the health and safety of students. |
Sooner or later. |
Outside of work, yes, pretty much. If you are traveling outside of an emergency and for fun, yes. If you are socializing indoors, yes. If you aren't masking, yes. If you are dining indoors at restaurants, yet. If your kids are not masking, hanging out in each others homes, etc, yes. If your kids are in a school with no social distancing and no mandatory, weekly testing, yes. |
