MCPS covid cases

It's much more efficient to look at the MCPS Dashboard at https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/coronavirus/dashboard/. Based on what I have seen so far I'll be surprised if every school does not have cases next week.

i don’t get it. how hard is it to lower the bus windows?

We have kids waiting for a bus driver for 2 to 3 hours.
Tell Prince Larlo to lower it himself

FCPS has a covid board. Since MCPS does not have one we could make one here.

They said many many times there was no social distancing and CDC guidelines don't apply.

Since Jack is gone- Blame Monifa. The plan is there is no plan. Just let the covid flow through the schools. What's the worst that could happen?

Did they ever claim they were going to?

Nope. They got rid of all the stickers

I’m generally pro opening but my HS kid was pretty concerned by the crowds in the hallway. I wish there was some way to mitigate the crowds on the passing periods. Maybe if they had grouped classes in the building so there was less need to go distance? I’m going to at least order her better masks for hallway passage.

Got any citations supporting the implicit assertion that physical distancing significantly reduces in-school transmissions?

Seriously, you now want to pretend things like social distancing don't help.
