NCS has some great results. They’re going to post one or two a day to give each a time in the spotlight. It’s such a great class. |
+1. Surprised to not see any from U Chicago yet. Usually there are 4 or 5. |
This isn't meant to badmouth Chicago, but several schools pretty clearly look at it as a great ED2 backup plan. If NCS had stronger than usual ED1 results, they may not have as many (or any) Chicago kids ED2. |
Bullis seems to be doing well. I do not have a child there but impressed. |
Chicago definitely has a strategy of getting commits from kids who got deferred (or rejected) at their first ED choice. After all, the arbitrariness of admissions at the other top schools means that there are some really amazing kids who don’t get into those schools ED, and Chicago can pick them off. |
Could someone please post Basis in McLean? TIA |
That’s a very small number posted for NCS. I’d hardly saw Wow. |
That’s an NCS mom trying to hype up the 16 girls who posted. Leave her alone. |
The NCS posts so far are really impressive because many are top of the class and they were successful in the first round. What will be interesting is where the rest of the class lands. there is a LOT of unknown.
I imagine this is probably the case with all of the privates that we are seeing. Strongest kids are all placed. Now what happens with the rest? |
The NCS results seem very similar to Holton’s. |
What’s impressive about the NCS class is that they are kind and supportive. They know what they’re doing and they are amazing young women. |
When do seniors find out? |
