This guy keeps popping up in my social media timelines.

Does he actually carry any weight with the Montgomery County Council or anywhere else, or is he just a social media warrior who posts compulsively?

I know he ran for office a few years ago, but lost (thank the gods). The guy isn't fit to run a post office, let alone hold public office.

Just trying to gauge how seriously I should take him and his sometimes ludicrous takes.

Why do you think he is unfit to hold public office, and what specifically about what he has said and written is "ludicrous"?

Assuming the earlier poster is just referencing a tweet, the description provided above is a gross exaggeration. He linked to an article and provided some brief commentary.

It is true, though, that MoCo Democrats aren't as progressive when they're worried about how policies will impact equity in their homes. That's how we ended up with Elrich.

Because he incessantly bemoans about the East-West divide in Montgomery County while being completely clueless as to why it came to be, and while also being ignorant of the fact that there has been an East-West divide for 50 years. The only thing that has changed is that county has gotten bigger and multi-colored.
