They think Britney Spears from 2001 will return. That Britney is long gone. I look at her IG from time to time…she seems to have the maturity level of a middle schooler. I don’t write that to be mean as she seems to have a very sweet soul and has been through a lot. I hope the best for her.

It’s so weird how she changed though. She’s been in the public eye her whole life and she seemed fine/sane through the Timberlake relationship. But after kids in 2005 it’s like she had a psychotic break and progressively got worse.

I think she had postpartum psychosis/depression and it was never properly treated. Then her life went in to lockdown and that would cause anyone to lose it. I hope she is happy with Sam. If he ends up getting alimony eventually that's not such a big deal, she's worth so much money. She deserves to try for happiness and make her own mistakes.

I don’t think what’s wrong with her is a case of post partum psychosis. Severe mental illness runs in her family and ita with the pp who said schizophrenia. It fits with the young adult onset, etc. Also there is enough stigma around it she would never want that getting out— if it were a case of post partum she could have parlayed that onto the talk show circuit. This is way worse.

No she wouldn't have. It was 2004 and in 2021 people still don't openly admit to post-partum depression or psychosis. They barely feel comfortable admitting miscarriages.

On top of that, her relationship was heavily criticized at the time. People thought he was beneath her (he was her former back-up dancer), was using her, and was a cheater. Turns out they were right on all cases.

Britney didn't want to hear it but any woman just married and having a child isn't going to go onto national news to not only admit she was wrong but also that her mental health issues is caused by said child and sperm donor.

You mean she doesn't use a million filters and hiring out photoshop editors to change her photos? Or have the self-awareness to only post Instagram pics with full makeup, a smile, and hair professionally done? Mentally I think she's a child. But physically - there's nothing wrong with Britney.

There’s nothing wrong with her, but she doesn’t look any better than any other 39 year old mom with fried hair and outdated permanent makeup. She looks fine. But no, she doesn’t look like a hot 29 year old. She doesn’t even look like a hot 40-something. JLo, Kate Beckinsdale, Jennifer Aniston, Liz Hurley etc all have far better physiques. Maybe Sam loves her because she’s sweet and funny, I don’t know.

My lifelong BFF taught her sons in the valley outside of LA. She had nothing but very nice things to say about both Britney and Kevin. Kevin is the primary parent, he is very involved and serious with their sons. Britney is very pleasant and sweet but seemed a bit immature and more of a weekend parent. Kevin was the one doing the homework with the boys, checking on their tests, conferencing with teachers, etc. He was the stability. Britney is a lovely person, but the boys were better off primarily with Kevin.

Gosh, can you imagine if someone reported on your parenting like your loose lipped friend blabbed to you and probably everyone else? And OF COURSE she was a “weekend parent” as you put it. She doesn’t have primary custody. That tends to cut a person out of the loops. JFC.

Well according to DCUM, public figures are fair for criticism. Looking on her IG it’s pretty clear she has mental issues and needs help.

They might have her drugged. She does not get to decide on whether to take medicine. It’s forced upon her.
