Regional strategey, genius

Also, because most Americans are so ignorant about world politics, they don't know the difference between one Arab state and another. This is why W was able to get away with bombing Iraq, despite the fact that the 9/11 hijackers were Saudis.

Well, they lied about weapons of mass destruction to the UN.

I can't help think about his fiancée. He knew he was probably walking into a trap of some kind. She was outside. Waiting.

Actually she probably feels horrid since he went there on her account.

She said she wished she went in with him too - meaning she wishes she were also dead.

I'm sure that's not what she means, she is under the impression that things could have been different if she accompanied him. In all honesty, they would not, she would have been just asked to wait in another room or escorted out.

Enough with the Saudi oil,
yet you won't give up your guzzlers.
Nice.

“When we arrived at the consulate, he went right in. He told me to alert the Turkish authorities if I did not hear from him soon. Had I known it would be the last time I would see Jamal, I would have rather entered the Saudi consulate myself. The rest is history: He never walked out of that building. And with him, I also got lost there.”

That poor woman. I’m sure a part of her did get lost there, too. Jackie Kennedy was understandably a basket case after they blasted her husband’s brains onto her lap. This woman didn’t see the ordeal happen, but she knows what was done and knows she was the bait. That poor woman. That poor man.

Saudi Arabia now admits it was premeditated.

I think the 15 who came to murder Jamal on MBS's direction will be sacrificed for the kingdom and Trump can claim victory of serving justice. There is no way to prove MBS was involved unless the 15 start talking and they can't!

Please don't tell me you are seriously comparing a multi-year marriage with children to a five-month relationship.

This is, as Arabs say, "kalam fadi". Empty words. Poetic license. What do you think would have happened if she entered it herself? No one was interested in her there. It's not like they would say, oh here you are, we'll take one of you, don't care which.

Please don’t tell me that you think her trauma at knowing how violent a death her fiancé died doesn’t matter because of elapsed time together.
