Actually she probably feels horrid since he went there on her account.
She said she wished she went in with him too - meaning she wishes she were also dead.
I'm sure that's not what she means, she is under the impression that things could have been different if she accompanied him. In all honesty, they would not, she would have been just asked to wait in another room or escorted out.
