^ Look at this loony poster, who pretends to know what conversations are happening between Jill and Joe at the Biden's breakfast table.

I’m not participating in this revolt. I voted for Biden in the primary and I expect my vote to be honored. A switch at this point would be an attack on democracy.

You are really obsessed with posting here. Real Democrats understand that
1. Their options were limited in the primary thanks to Biden
2. Biden stepping down because of his health is not "an attack on democracy" don't be daft

He’s not stepping down. That much is clear. He’s being pushed out by a handful of elites. There is a word for what is happening.

Two words: organic groundswell.

Anyone with two eyes can see that Biden is not doing well. He may still have a fighting chance against Trump, but the man should have pulled out a long time ago and given a younger set of contenders a fighting chance.

As it stands, we see shades of Lear and RBG. May we have luck and see his legacy fare better.

I know people who switched their vote from Cruz to Trump because they felt a vote for Cruz would end up as a vote for someone else at the convention.

"Told" by who? I keep looking at those headlines from the OP from a couple of days ago saying Biden was imminently stepping aside yet NONE OF THAT SEEMS TO BE ROOTED IN ANY KIND OF REALITY WHATSOEVER.

These "sources" that the media and DNC elites keep pointing to seem to largely be fictitious and none of these supposed conversations with the Bidens or any White House insiders are likely even happening at all.

Anonymous sources were used daily during the Trump administration. No one doubted anonymous sources then. Why now are they not allowed to be quoted?

Because we realize now it is all lies.

Given the candidate's incapacity, we're going to pick someone else.

The RNC should have done the same, given the candidate's disqualification. But they're too chicken. Or too dumb. But I think it's chicken.

We? Are you a delegate or DNC honcho? Most of us are just regular voters.

They seem to be playing off the quote in the prior post.

People need to remember, we democrats didn’t have a proper primary. No one really ran against Biden. The party heavily discouraged anyone from doing so. As a voter, I was very disappointed. Most of us Biden fans wanted him for one term, and one term only.

Dean Philips did, and Democrats voted for Biden over Philips, knowing Biden was incapable.
LBJ dropped out after a substantial number voted against him in New Hampshire. Why didn't you do that to Biden?

Most people didn't even know who Dean Philips was.
Doesn't matter. He was a stand in for, and campaigned as, Biden is too senile to be president.

A "handful of elites" that are actually listening to what real Democrats want. Most of us thought he was too old long before the debate. Polls show this.

You are a GOP operative who knows well that Trump is only ahead because he is running against Biden. Most Americans do not like Trump.

Anonymous wrote:Biden allies say 'elites' are disenfranchising voters who want the president to stay in

Members of the party's base, particularly Black and Latino voters, are warning that efforts to push Biden out of the 2024 race are undemocratic.

The new effort is aimed at turning the pressure campaign against Biden back on party insiders by seizing on anger and frustration among some voters who feel disenfranchised by attempts to push the candidate they cast their ballots for aside, the Democrats said.

“If the Democratic elites push Biden out and disenfranchise 14 million voters like me, the Democratic legislators are no better than Republicans,” said one top Biden surrogate focused on reaching Black voters. “Democrats lose the so-called save democracy argument, and it will appear racist.”

Are these people living in reality? Did they watch the debate?

Wouldn't a coup indicate there is someone waiting to move into that position? There is no candidate pushed for that spot

Don’t worry, if Trump wins, anonymous sources will be all the rage again.
