She’s beyond self-absorbed; she’s selfish and seemingly lacks awareness and empathy.

I wonder if she cringes when she watches it now?

Charlotte was spoiled, but at least she evolved to become a decent person. The others were truly awful.

I have an acquaintance who worshipped Carrie back in the SATC heyday, down to the big hair, horseshoe necklace, and shameless, utterly dull self-absorbtion. I couldn’t stand her.

This is so fascinating. I too loved it when it first came out -- not obsessed, but thought it was fun, fresh, hilarious -- and also rewatched a few episodes recently and was REPELLED.

Gilmore Girls was always annoying btw, sorry.
