This could be fun...or not... 🤣🤣
What are some stereotypes you have about the owners of certain dogs/breeds? |
Golden Retriever - suburban family with an SUV
Pit bull - UMC liberal who protests breed discrimination Lab - Single guy who made craft beer and hiking his personality Chihuahua - Overweight yet very self confident, tinder bio points out she pays her own bills Irish Wolfhound - Look how big my home is and how much food I can afford |
Pit bull is either UMC lib or lower class with conservative leanings. Not much in between. |
Golden retriever and an American SUV has been replaced by goldendoodle and a Subaru. |
^^Honestly, this is kind of spot on. Otherwise, the first PP nailed it. |
Golden Doodle or any kind of doodle... I am trying to keep up with the Joneses. |
French Bulldog - They complained about gentrification in their Brooklyn neighborhood while celebrating a cat cafe taking the spot of the laundromat |
I think Doodle owners are kind of dumb, terrible dog owners, usually have bratty kids. |
They tend to be extremely inexperienced dog owners. They also tend to let the bratty kids walk the dog, which is a mess. |
Dachshund owners are usually good owners, they have small dogs without "small dog syndrome", and seem to be "no nonsense" in a good way. |
I’m biased here, but I think English Bulldog owners are super chill, well established, and generally happy people. |
In Manhattan owning a huge or super active breed (border collie) is definitely a form of flexing how big your apartment is (or how much free time you have to take them to Central Park). |
Also a lot of pit bulls start out life in lower class/poor socially conservative homes, are given up, and end up rescued by the liberal yuppies. |
Especially if you own two big dogs. |
Also true. |
