Yorkie = bougie Black owners.

Pitbull owners are usually either degenerate men or good-hearted but damaged women.

Accurate.

Ha! You nailed it.

Signed,

Beagle owner who was exactly the person described, but who loved her beagle soooooo much she went and got another one

If I had a dog this would be me.

The posters saying UMC libs adopt pits--you're way off. UMC libs read the news too, and they don't want to expose precious Larla and Larlo to potentially deforming bites. They also don't want to be associated with those degenerate LMC men.

Pit bull - UMC liberal who protests breed discrimination

Lab - Single guy who made craft beer and hiking his personality

Chihuahua - Overweight yet very self confident, tinder bio points out she pays her own bills

Irish Wolfhound - Look how big my home is and how much food I can afford

Accurate, except we have a minivan, and we bought the minivan because of the dog (previous SUV was too small for two kids plus 90lb dog).

I think Doodle owners are kind of dumb, terrible dog owners, usually have bratty kids.

They are the kind of people who cannot be inconvenienced in the slightest (no shedding! cute dogs only!), and lack originality. Bratty kids probably yes, because good parenting is often inconvenient.

Really? The shelters are overrun with them. Only a person with no heart or conscience shrugs about sad, lonely dogs living out their lives in a cage. The right owners can manage them and give them good lives.

That’s why this person with a heart and a conscience thinks that euthanasia for a breed notorious for unprovoked severe and fatal attacks is the best answer yet. Deal with the glut of pit bulls and save resources for other more peaceful animals who won’t bite off a baby’s face for sneezing.

Orrrr continue to push “adopt, don’t shop” and adopt pit bull mixes out to people with older kids (tweens or teens) or people with no kids.

Most of the mutts you get at a shelter are going to have some Pitt in them, even if it’s only a quarter or less. They’re not the societal hazard you think. Es there are some unfortunate incidents but they make the national news when they happen for a reason: they’re relatively rare. Consider the number of peaceful pitts out there happily living their best lives after a kind, non bigoted owner took them home.

Ehh I’d be willing to sacrifice all the “peaceful” ones living their best lives if it meant saving the lives of all the innocent people killed by the non-peaceful pits. You can’t know which is which so why have these ticking time bombs out there.

These poor babies’ lives mattered more than taking the chance on some dog living its best life somewhere.

Was going to reply and say that we got a doodle bc my kids have allergies, so we had to get a dog from a breeder

But let's be real, they kind of are bratty kids and probably could have done without a dog, so maybe I'm dumb for spending $$$ on the dog. (though he is far better than any of the 4 rescue 'mutts' I had in the past, working with a dog from puppy-hood, knowing they had no unknown trauma, etc. is something!)

My doodle is the best dog I have ever had, too. And I am definitely not dumb, though I am lazy. One of my two kids is bratty (toward DH and me) but you would never know it. Teachers, parents, coaches, etc., all think she is an absolute dream! Oh and no allergies -- so no excuse for my choice to get a doodle. I just knew some and liked them so we decided to get one.

I'm seeing a retired White professor. Sometimes forgets to mow his yard, but usually remembers to take the dog for a walk.

+100

When we moved into this neighborhood 5.5 yrs ago, there were a variety of dogs ( mostly pure bred ). Now, 80% of the dogs in my neighborhood are some type of doodle mix. Any new neighbor, gets one of the above within 1 yr of moving in. Def keeping up with the Joneses.

Confident and smart. Didn't buy into the doodle craze.
