SAT today

I’m disgusted.
There must be over 1000 kids at this school to take the SAT.
Schools are closed, yet this money making ridiculousness goes on.
Where are our priorities???? These kids should not be subjected to this viral risk.

Of course, we could have stayed home but my son prepared and desperately wants to take this test.
I think it’s terrible.

I think all the sites in Northern Virginia stayed open.

You could have stayed home or stayed in your car and driven home. This test is optional!! I’m so happy the test moved forward.

Get off your high horse. There are hundreds of thousands of kids who had their tests cancelled today. Next time give up your spot to someone who wants it.

Sorry you consider it a high horse to not want our kids to get sick. With all the college board said they were doing to make things safe, I never expected to drive up and see over 1000 kids. I apologize for wanting the best for them.

Oh no, are we going to freak out whenever we see a crowd of people? Is this what it’s come to?

Wow. Some people are ignorant. Indoor, enclosed spaces for sustained amounts of time with groups of people are the highest risk environments. No, we are not going to freak out. We are going to be educated, and use facts and common sense to judge situations.

Flattening the curve was the goal. We’re there and most people are happy with that and want to get to an almost normal life.

Others won’t be comfortable until there’s a vaccine and zero cases (which may never happen).

Seems you fall into the latter camp. It’s also common sense to realize a group of teenagers is not the same as a group of octogenarians.

So you want other peoples’ kids to be shut out from testing, but not yours? Got it.

What makes your kid so special? They could’ve cut him from the test, then there would’ve been fewer than 1000 kids like you want!
