I actually felt bad for all the kids there, not just mine. And for the kids who couldn’t get a spot since the whole situation is unacceptable.
I hope it makes some of you feel really good to be so rude to others online. So brave.

Hey OP, can you answer the PP? Is your kid a junior who took a spot from a senior? I hope this is the end of the College Board and the SAT. I hope all the juniors who took these spots find their tests are worthless next year when all schools drop the test completely. Juniors do not need to be taking the test in August. OP, you are horrible.

OP still has not confirmed she/he is the OP of that other thread, but I'll bet it is the same person. The writing style and hand-wringing are similar. If so, s/he easily could've kept the HS junior home.

Wonder if schools will allow for PSAT?

My kid is in 8th grade and I dropped them off this morning. Sucks to be you if you couldn’t get your kid into a testing center.

I don’t know why anyone who is a junior would take these tests now. It seems like an easy pass to take it in the spring.

My junior took pre-calc as a sophomore and has been studying for the SAT since March. He was supposed to take it in May. I don't want him to have to study again.

Were the kids all wearing masks? I think that’s where my kid is taking the ACT.

Your kid is in middle schools and you dropped them off for an SAT test in a pandemic?
Wow, sucks to be your kid.

Yeah because being 13 vs 16 or 17 makes such HUGE difference. Sucks to be a kid whose parent is too incompetent to figure out how to get the tested

Maybe you should concentrate on your own kid so they don’t lose out -

Yes! You are smart to get it over now. Your little one can start working towards instrument mastery and a career in research science. I wish we had started earlier!
