If I don’t need storage, I prefer pedestal. I think it almost always looks better in a small bathroom, especially one frequented by quests.

We used to have pedestal, but really felt the lack of storage for necessities, so we switched to vanity. Small house, not a lot of alternative storage options.

Vanity. No use whatsoever for a pedestal. They look builder grade cheap.

Only if you’re looking at builder grade cheap ones. Same with vanities.

I prefer vanity. You can get a small vanity that isn't any bigger than a pedestal. the little bit of storage is nice for extra rolls of tp, air freshner, extra hand soap, and whatever.

Vanity. Store a few necessities there unless is a bathroom never used.

Our house had the pedestal in a small bathroom. It didn’t make it look any bigger. Replaced it.

OP here. Thanks all! I am still having a hard time choosing. I like the simplicity of the pedestal sink but I also like the practicality of the vanity especially in my storage deprived home.
