On the one hand, I get the disappointment, but honestly, if the kids can still play and scrimmage each other within their clubs, I'll be reasonably happy.

Best case, they have a bunch of ODSL teams to add to leagues, worst case they follow ODSL’s lead

Of your at a club and the top team(s) are in leagues and your kid’s team isn’t, you’re going to want a refund (and probably be entitled to one)

Are you saying you are comfortable shelling out somewhere between $2-3K for intraclub practice games?

Boy am I flabbergasted.

Different poster but yeah compared to where we were a few months ago where it seemed like no youth sports at all was a possibility - practices and scrimmages are a big improvement. I think the season will happen - cases in the players age range are well under control and there is not yet any sign of COVID-19 spread from youth soccer and full practices have been running since 7/1.

Agreed. It is not ideal but a lot better than the alternative of nothing

If the club has teams in the same age group playing in other leagues they’re going to have to either offer refunds or massive discounts for those not actually playing.

How much money do you mofos make to be contempt with shelling out around 3 grand for crappy scrimmages? Honest question.

I’m poor but even if I made 6 figures like you I still would NOT pay such monies for such a lame ROI.

The costs will go down though if no league play, no tournaments. You pay for coaches fees, fields, vysa..... I’d say closer to $1200-$1500 , which isn’t bad for year round activity.

EDP has fall 2020 schedules posted. Probably a good sign NCSl will follow soon.
