Actually, it was THIS that caught my attention, not the number of SS agents: “ a rare gathering with much of the presidential line of succession present inside an NFL stadium.”

Doesn’t make a lot of sense to have much of the line of presidential succession in one place at the same time.

Meh. This is something I just can’t care about with the current line up. It’s inevitable that their choices to be ignorant and shun all governing norms, policies, and procedures will affect more than just “libs”.

This memorial service has been very good. The music has been wonderful. The speakers inspirational. It has been a wonderful tribute to Charlie Kirk. I especially liked hearing the stories from the people who worked with him. He was so loved.

Did Trump cry? Did anyone in his cabinet cry?

Not one speaker has said the assassin’s name. As it should be. Charlie will be remembered. The assassin will not be.

Just seeing if anyone in this awful administration is capable of any sort of emotion besides anger or rage.

Go whine on a different thread.

This is why you folks keep losing.
They just don't get it do they?

I think the previous poster means Tyler Robinson. It's pretty clear that Charlie Kirk is not inconsequential nor will he be forgotten in six months.

I think you are wrong. I think the pp was indeed talking about Charlie Kirk and has no earthly idea just how consequential his life was. He will not be forgotten in 6 months, or 6 years or 20 years. And, this terrifies them.

Do you know who George Lincoln Rockwell was, poster?

Bumping this; curious to know if anybody here remembers George Lincoln Rockwell.

No

Well then, I wonder if anybody will really remember Charlie Kirk in 20 years.

Maybe because of the internet, but on the other hand, new content is always being made and it pushes the old content out of the spotlight.

TPUSA board has named Erika Kirk as her husband's successor, and she says she plans to visit college campuses and continue his debate shtick. From what I've seen of her, I doubt very much she'll be any good at it.

Many people had no idea who Charlie and Erika Kirk were to begin with. Will I remember him in 20 years, maybe. Probably not though.

Most older folks didn't know Charlie, unless they are very close political news followers like myself - and I only knew about him enough to know that I didn't want to know more, same as I feel about Ben Shapiro.

But if you're following the news at all, you might have seen that his reach to the youth of America and other countries was very expansive - like, most corporations would only wish to have the percentage name recognition of Charlie Kirk among high school and college age youth. Your kids if they're old enough have probably seen Kirk's content at one point or another.

Going to keep posting this to tell you all that he really wasn’t as well known and influential as you think he was.

Turning Point currently has about 3500 chapters at high schools and universities. Since his murder, they have received 62,000 requests to open new chapters. His influence is only growing.

Ok, good luck with that.

As long as they don’t become mandatory like some other youth clubs 85 or so years ago.

The DOE just announced it’s partnering with Turning Point. Watch the propaganda video about the new social studies curriculum as part of America’s 250th birthday.

What a terrible birthday present.

It’s more like a funeral.

I'd never heard of him before he was shot and I won't be thinking of him now he's gone. I made sure to avoid any TV channels that were televising his funeral service.

Yes, we don't know who you democrats will shoot next.

Nobody knows, because “democrats” aren’t shooting people at anywhere near the rate that the RW propaganda noise machine has you believing.

Too bad none of these people can muster one iota of this for all of the kids slaughtered in their own schools.
