Are they also a for “non-profit” like Loudoun $occer?

80k on the most recent 990- less than the larger clubs by a decent margin

That’s because we’re not a large club. Haven’t been since EM and all our great coaches left. Hence, all the “LMVSC family”.

that's funny. LMVSC family. That may relate well with LB & Gore family, as they are family. This needs to more of a family hobby and more of a sports club. Little bit of nepotism goin on here, eh?

Just an update on 990s at lmvsc. All numbers are rounded and the following will be used as a index (letter of first name switched with first letter of last name):
LB - Bula Lauer (ED)
Banya Tarrows (Asst Director)
EM - Msteban Ealdonado (TD)
KM - Myle Korsinck (Asst TD)
MG - Gitchell More (Son)
JG - Gessica Jore (DIL - Finance Manager)
CJ - Jasey Cohnson - (D of KJ previously paid treasurer for LMVSC)
JO - Oustin J'Shell (Dir of Rec/Camps)
JN - Non Jorem (DOC)
2014 (Club Revenue $700k)
LB - $78k
TB - $6k
EM - $71k
KM - $0
MG - $24k
JG - $9k
2015 (Club Revenue $1.1M)
LB - $66k
TB - $6k
JG - $20k
EM - $84k
KM - $20k
MG - $33k
2016 (Club Revenue $1.6M)
LB - $96k
TB - $8k
JG - $23k
EM - $52k
KM - $23k
MG - $26k
2017 (Club Revenue $1.4M)
LB - $110k
TB - $10k
JG - $45k
CJ - $15k
EM - $81k
JN - $19k
JO - $55k
2018 (Club Revenue $1.5M)
LB - $80k
TB - $10k
JG - $45k
CJ - $15k
EM - $61k
JN - $34k
JO - $45k

It does not appear LB pay is related to revenue but if she runs the board, there is no telling with the truth is.

Not sure what to take from this other than there are a lot questions regarding the decisions and why the LB family seems to get a higher percentage of the overall revenue vs the overall value of the program. It will be interesting to see the 2019 and 2020 Form 990s when EM/multiple coaches exited and JN/SO followed in 2020.

Why did they mention State Cup during the team meetings of we’re not going to do it?

Psst! Because they have been dishonest since 2019 tryouts.

Are the CCL teams playing this weekend?

stupid question- does LMVSC not have practice jerseys they could wear? Not playing because Jerseys aren't in seems absurd

The fields and times are all set for their games next weekend, in Arlington.

They do, and, all you need is similar colored shirt.

From CCL thread; found out the 2011 girls red are now also in NCSL (that’s red teams):
“It is safe to say that LB is fully responsible for the demise and the LMVSC issues that have been noted. Her email in late July/early August saying that July this year is actually May proves that she has no clue about the current climate. LB decided to remove 2 directors from the club prior to the season and clearly is not prepared for the administrative tasks that are necessary for running a club. “

There are groups of players at practice but very little communication surrounding what team or league players will be playing. I left SYC because of the structure and how it was run under the leadership of JC. Sadly, LMVSC is moving toward the same structure JC ran at SYC and will drive families away due to the lack of planning and respect for others (ie. families, players and coaches). The reality is that LB has engaged in a bait and switch approach where the changes are occurring so close to the season that families are stuck with very few options. SHAMEFUL.”

I thought the leagues required the shirts to be numbered no? I thought I saw that in the rules at some point.

Yes, but COVID. The league has been extraordinarily flexible as have the referees. Furthermore, this has been communicated with all clubs. So I'm not sure if you're been told otherwise, but it's completely allowed for the interim.

By law, uniforms need to be numbered and is ultimately up to the referee. Take a sharpie and write your DS/DD number on it.

CCL has notified your club that it's okay to wear similar shirt colors, even without numbers. But yes, a simple sharpie would suffice. The league is just trying to help the kids play; did LMVSC notify you why your game against Alexandria was rescheduled?
