Also, 2007 and 2008 girls are both in NCSL. Don’t expect LB to put them in State Cup either. She doesn’t care about the girls side nor is she good at it.

Even if she has only two teams her salary still stays intact. Not the same for staff/coaches.

Nope. Soccer.com stated on the orders all team store orders will have a 28+ lead time before shipping. Being as the club didn't give us the information earlier, we won't have uniforms until late September or early October. Looks like we will look like the bad news bears on the soccer field wearing different uniforms and all shades of colors.

They wouldn’t cancel for that though right? The team could wear pini’s worst case?

They couldn’t against Alexandria, apparently

There is no 2006 girls red team. LB has 2005 girls white

Why is LB coaching any teams? Are there any local clubs where the executive director coaches teams as well?

It may be justified for the club to revisit her compensation. There is no way she should be paid the same if the club is less than half the size from previous years.

It’ll never happen. She controls the board that is in charge. Next year, LMVSC will be bottom-tier NCSL or even ODSL. U15 will probably be their oldest teams.

How does a 501c(3) non profit have an organizational structure allowing a paid employee to have power over Board decisions. Typically there are discussions and input from paid employees but Board ultimately makes the decision, yes? There have been rumors circulating about LB and control but now this makes sense. Too bad because the area is rich in talent but probably best for LMVSC to drop out to eliminate additional dilution of the talent pool.

Even if there’s “a change”, so long as LB runs the show this will continue.

Curious what you are referring to. Was there an incident? My son plays for Alexandria and while Alexandria players are not allowed to wear pinnis themselves I didn't know there was any rule against other teams doing so. We were told that if you didn't have an Alexandria uniform and couldn't get one in time, you should buy red shorts and your own red and white shirts and write your number in large text on the back of it.

LMVSC canceled because “uniforms aren’t in”. Uniforms weren’t in for two reasons:
- bad leadership ordering late (on purpose or accident)
- didn’t have enough players to even form teams until recently

Regardless, CCL has been allowing players to just wear similar colored shirts, shorts, socks as the prescribed uniform. It wasn’t Alexandria’s fault, it was LMVSC’s fault.

Bottom line, LMVSC canceled because of worries of showing just how much they won’t be competitive to their nearby opponents. All the kids will leave. Expect the same for Arlington and SYC games.

How much doe LMVSC peeps make? can’t find their 990’s online.

Are they also a for “non-profit” like Loudoun $occer?

80k on the most recent 990- less than the larger clubs by a decent margin

That doesn't include her extra team pay, plus whatever else the club may be covering such as phone, office, etc.

That’s because we’re not a large club. Haven’t been since EM and all our great coaches left. Hence, all the “LMVSC family”.

Strange because the previous year she made $96K+ and this has fluctuated. Anyone else notice how the club shows a $886K cash positive on assets carried over? As the club doesn’t own any fields or land to speak of, is this $886K sitting in a non-interest bearing account? Does LB get a bonus on overall revenue or profit to this amount?
