I don't remember that. We didn't think in partisan ideological terms like that in the 20th century. There were only two professors that I thought of as one way or the other (one of each) and neither was Turley.

I know that courts are pretty tolerant of bonkers off-the-wall fillings. But fillings that are misleading or for the purpose of furthering a narrative rather than the case, well, courts don't appreciate that. Durham is in serious danger of sanctions.

It will be interesting to hear what the judge does after this. Sussman's filing calls out the many lies and distortions in Durham's filing, and accuses Durham of trying to (successfully) gin up a right wing media circus.
