Hint: No code violation is necessary for impeachment. That’s not what impeachment is about. Maybe read the Constitution? And some history? |
18 USC 2383
"Whoever incites... any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States... shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States." |
I said that impeachment is warranted. I also asked which section of the United States Code was allegedly violated. If you can’t answer, fine—if you don’t know, just say that. No need to reply with third rate snark attempt. |
This is a running tally, by week: https://theweeklylist.org/ |
One need not violate a code to be impeached. |
Well aware of that. But as a separate matter, what criminal statute was violated here? |
Your link does not say. |
Click on any of the weeks. |
No criminal violation is required. The DOJ says a president can’t be charged anyway. The code is irrelevant. That said, you might want to google inchoate offenses like solicitation, misprision, and conspiracy. Trumps up to his neck in those. |
Understand what Trump's corruption does to our diplomatic institutions and the geopolitical game between Russia and Europe

Do we know why Barr, Pompeo, Bannon, Ivanka etc were all in Rome last week? |
Pompeo is going this week for a conference, but the question still stands for the balance of them. It cannot be a coincidence. Particularly with the various Oligarchs who happened to be there as well. |
Maybe Trump will want Bannon back. |
That was such a last minute decision that Pompeo is still scheduled to meet with Trump this afternoon. I cannot imagine why Pompeo would want to leave the country this week. /s |
