No, poster is correct. I saw some of the same 'better players' trying out THIS year for FCV. PT offers only. |
I saw the same. Bold above is correct. |
Both of you saw one of the 'better players' from Spirit 05 from ODFC trying out for FCV since this spring started? |
Yes |
Better Spirit 05 AND ODFC 05? |
I didn't state the age group. |
| Your point? I am seeing things dangerously close to identifying children. |
|
Well I don't know the people, they were just pointed out by others.
I can't see how saying that a person was at a public place infringes on privacy or identifies children. Anyone at the field that day would have seen players. |
| Yes but putting on the megaphone of social media is not a parental expectation. |
I agree, but to read this forum, some parents act like it is. Too many times a poster "demands" a name as if they have a "right" to know. |
This forum is hardly a megaphone. And players know other players, especially at the top. Parents shouldn't 'expect' any privacy. Kids and parents talk. |
| I disagree. Thousands of people read this. It makes you leery of just checking something else out. No one wants their kid basically publicly identified. I think this practice should stop. |
I think one thing that has come out of Spirit DA and will extend into MU is a core group of players in most of the age groups that can play and want to play at the DA level. So it will likely sustain and thrive. I thought when we joined, being part of an NWSL would make the program great. Instead, it was an anchor. They actually charged us to watch the pro team practice. I know we will have to prove it next year, but from the inside, I can tell we are going to be doing what needed to be done all along. It's going to be a good year for the families that choose MU. |
Who is we? Is this a kid from the program? |
|
Ask Drake.
By the way, is she still regional USSF rep? |
