Chaiman Nadler says Mueller is reluctant to testify because “he doesn't want to participate in anything that he might regard as a political spectacle.” Why would the special counsel think the House Judiciary Committee has devolved into a stage for political spectacle?

Forgive my ignorance- I am not a lawyer. Does anyone know what happens to Mueller’s many criminal referrals now that Barr is the AG?

I don’t think anybody really knows, but supposedly Barr was going to continue to to oversee those cases. Calk’s indictment this week could very well be one of them since he was trying to bribe Manafort.

I am guessing Barr will stifle them as necessary. It will be up to the NYAG to bring much of this forward.

I find it interesting that Mueller has not agreed to testify. He sees what a circus the House judiciary committee has become and wants no part of it.

After the public spectacle they created when Barr refused to go - I can see what he would want to avoid testifying publicly. It was shameful behavior on the part of Democrats.
