I could believe that all of the stuff in the yearbook, all of the fraternity chants, the secret society, were all a joke. I could believe that, except for Mark Judge. And also the other evasions and lies by Kavanaugh. |
And, once again, you are believing someone who has NO PROOF, NO CORROBORATION, and has a story that everyone SHE says was there are disputing. |
And haven’ realized 2 decades have passed. |
Can we see that evidence? What stops the defense from lying about these details? Why not file with local police? |
“I went to an all-boys Catholic high school. focused on academics and athletics, going to church every Sunday, working on service projects and friendship with my classmates and girls from the all-girls Catholic schools.”
Kavanaugh’s innocent church-going virgin defense is just gross and contrary to his own “what happens at Prep stays at Prep” mantra. |

This is where his true Kreepster vibes come out. |
Somehow that jingle strikes a nerve in me harder than the sexual assaults. Completely gratuitous cruelty. |
Actually I can. The biggest braggers in high school (and college) were overcompensating for their lack of experience. |
Wait. I'm confused. So Kavanaugh didn't write the poem, but another boy did? This seems more a criticism of the culture at GP in general. |
I think you are confused. I am not talking about Ford or any other accuser. I'm referring to the use of "Renate Alum" or whatever the phrase was that was used by a group of boys in Kavanaugh's class in the yearbook. Including Kavanaugh. The insinuation of the phrase is that all the boys "had" her. Kavanaugh's lawyers, not Renate, claim the two kissed. Renate claims they *didn't* kiss. I am asking you to provide a reasonable explanation for why Kav would have used that phrase, and whom do we believe if the woman says they didn't kiss and his attorneys say they did? It's an obvious lie on the Kavanaugh team is what I am saying. You and a group of your buddies don't memorialize in your yearbook that you are all "alum" of a girl because you took her to a dance and did (or didn't) kiss her. Renate initially signed the letter supporting him. It wasn't until someone pointed out the use of the "Renate alum" phrase that she was appalled and hurt. Taken alone the insinuation would be NBD. Taken with all the other evidence, such as Judge's book, about what went on in those days, at those parties, with those boys, it's highly suggestive of a misogynistic, womanizing culture. Which Kav is claiming he was not a part of. |
It's really, really weird of him to think that being or not being a virgin has anything to do with whether he assaulted women. |
This. Even more so a generation ago where pretty much most of the boys were not getting much of anything but there was pressure to seem otherwise to appear more worldly. |
And if that's the explanation, I want to hear it from Kavanaugh. |
Maybe, but he was actively participating in that culture -- throwing the Renate Alumnius item in his yearbook biography. It just makes me really sad that they were talking about this poor girl that way. I can't say it's entirely rational. Objectively, pinning a woman down and covering her mouth while you grope her and shoving your dick in a drunk woman's face are both worse than this Renate thing. And yet the Renate taunting, even if done behind her back (perhaps moreso done behind her back) makes me angrier than hearing about the assaults. |
