I do feel sad that this woman is so gullible as to ruin her career and humiliate herself nationally like this as part of this. She has been manipulated like so many else.

But I am also glad she won’t be teaching children anymore. Let her work at Walmart or something.

Was it really necessary to make that nasty comment about Walmart?

The nasty comment wasn’t about Walmart. It was about her. I was just pointing out that she is forever unemployable now. Except is probably the right-wing bubble or retail.

Bet you were grateful for those retail people who were forced to work during the worse of Covid so that you could luxuriate at home and use them to do your bidding

I sure was. What about you? Do you hold them in higher regard than children who request to be called by pronouns you disapprove of?

While you looked down your nose at them as evidenced above. You like slavery.

Well, I hold them in higher regard then the parents who buy into the idea that an elementary school kid can’t be influenced, mislead or confused. Where are the rational adults in the room? Oh, they are using little children to push their trans agenda.

“Pushing their trans agenda”?

You are fcked in the head.

Oh, I don’t know, the last draft I saw had “indoctrinate the children” as the third step of the second phase. Marxist indoctrination for CRT is in phase 1.

Yeah something about Mao was in there too, I think he’s presenting keynote at convocation

That snark is stale and it won't hunt. Most sentient people reasonably understand that what's being discussed is not CRT as it is taught in-law schools and in higher education, but rather, aspects derived from its principles.

Could you please elaborate on exactly what those aspects are?

Thanks.

Not the pp, but broadly stated, segregation is one aspect derived from its principles.

Uh no. CRT would examine the racial impetus behind SYSTEMS of segregation in our country (eg redlining) and the legal ramifications and outcomes . A principal moving kids around this way is not CRT. CRT is a framework for understanding existing systems .

She apparently lives in West Virginia (according to her school bio posted online) so maybe she’ll be happier teaching there or in a religious school setting.

Draft of the agenda pp spoke of. It’s need to know only. If you aren’t receiving the drafts, cool your heels. All will be revealed in due time. We have great plans to make your children militant little leftists.

The draft of the indoctrination curriculum we are adopting!

Indeed.

My listserv calls them FOTs. Fresh off the Tractors as in the rural Western Loudoun parents who want schools open without masks, love Trump, and want nothing progressive to come their way.

I’m not really understanding the fresh off the part. Presumably these folks being maligned have utilized tractors for a long time.

DP. Segregating now to address the effects of systemic racism from previous, racist segregation.

There is no “both sides” here.

Sure is. Those who are concerned about the direction of the school system and those who aren’t.

False equivalency. Those who are “concerned” are lunatics who are living in some alternate reality.

The board was elected by the people, for the people and is doing fine. They won’t be recalled. And they will be re-elected. This is a bright blue county. There is no appetite for backwards, right-wing school board members.

I thought last night wasn't even about CRT?!

So are the policies she didn't agree with CRT related or transgender related?

Either way, good riddance. Enjoy your 15 minutes of fame and then have fun trying to maintain the overpriced house you purchased in WV with your now absent LOCO teacher salary.

I can’t get over lying about being told to report colleagues lol. Why would you even make that up??

Not made up. It went out about a year ago, and I think after an outcry they dropped the policy. Don't remember the details, but something about they did not want teachers speaking against school board policy anywhere.

Her statement that I saw was all about CRT and the training she is getting, yet this thread assumes otherwise.
