a league is different. For this Florida trip, you're pretty much captive the whole time given the travel. Of course it would be nice to have the schedule, but please find a way to be happy.

The PP that asks “why is it important” clearly has no kid playing or has decided to make a whole week vacation out of it and doesn’t care about return flights, extra hotel nights, etc.

It's ridiculous. They carry on and on about the draw and all anyone really cares about is the schedule, the schedule the schedule. The location and number of participants has been known for a very long time. The schedule should have come out with the draw...just plug the names into the slots and let's go already.

In ECNL's defense, it's a big event, with alot of politicking for advantage with the schedule. The majority of teams in the country will attend and you have playoffs plus multiple layers of showcases beneath. Still, I agree, you could have scheduled alot of this well in advance. It looks to me like ECNL is way understaffed for preparations of this magnitude.

Actually, I do. It is simply a lack of leadership and customer service. Trying to appease all involved never works, especially coaches. They either get their ass to their game or they don’t.

For what it’s worth, some time back, they posted the days each age group would play. Although the specific Game sked hadn’t been released, we do know that The 06 girls play on Jul 2,3 and 5. So you can at least make travel plans to go down there.

So with this schedule, if you are a 0930 am start, with a hotel close to the fields, you are a winner. An hour away from the field, not so much.
