It's ridiculous.  They carry on and on about the draw and all anyone really cares about is the schedule, the schedule the schedule.  The location and number of participants has been known for a very long time.  The schedule should have come out with the draw...just plug the names into the slots and let's go already.[/quote]

In ECNL's defense, it's a big event, with alot of politicking for advantage with the schedule.  The majority of teams in the country will attend and you have playoffs plus multiple layers of showcases beneath. Still, I agree, you could have scheduled alot of this well in advance. It looks to me like ECNL is way understaffed for preparations of this magnitude.[/quote]

Politicking for advantage?  Come on please.  It is a youth soccer tourney not the world cup.   Who won it last time at whatever age group?  No one knows!   And that is as it should be.  Just give out the schedule and get on with it.[/quote]

For what it’s worth, some time back, they posted the days each age group would play.  Although the specific Game sked hadn’t been released, we do know that The 06 girls play on Jul 2,3 and 5.  So you can at least make travel plans to go down there.[/quote]
