ECNL Playoffs

I would take the 0730 slot during the summer in Florida regardless of hotel distance. Every time.

Will the playoff games be streamed live like the GA playoff games?

People and players with things to schedule need the game times asap. They finally have them and can now work in calls and on line internships, etc. etc. No idea why it's so hard for you to understand that people do not just get 5 days off to devote to waiting around for a soccer game. A lot of people and players can not do that.

Agree. If you are going to pay top dollar for youth soccer, expect some level of organization and professionalism. Don't be complacent with mediocrity even if it is all around.

You need the DAYS that you are expected to be in the competition well in advance but the TIMES of the day are really not as imperative.

What things do the players have other than soccer to be concerned about the time?

Under normal times your club would do team travel and you wouldn't even see your kid all that much and you don't need to drive them to a fro. I'm sorry YOU need to schedule your Zoom meeting around your kids soccer game but ECNL doesn't care about YOUR problems.

WYF with all these posts? First of all you signed your kid to do ECNL, secondly you keep bragging that he is going to the playoffs, now you are complaining on the schedule, next week you’ll be posting about the bad calls from the referees. Don’t you have a life other than kid soccer?

You understand that the later stages of a playoff cannot be determined until the round robin portion is completed right? It is hilarious that you believe you will be stuck in Florida for 5 days. Nice attempt at a humblebrag but I think your internship and meetings will be safe on Monday.

These leagues are geared entirely to affluent folks who can afford to take 5-6 days off and not think twice about the travel costs or their work schedule. This is also why ECNL will never take over on the boys side; too many top boys players are from middle/working class families.

Tuesday Wed Thurs and Fri mam. Monday is a holiday. Look at a calendar. Defend disorganized scheduling all you want. It works great for you and your player with no life beyond youth soccer.

ECNL should have never ever ever started a boys ECNL.

This level of crying has to be boy parents.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (Holiday)

IF you win over the 3 day weekend then Tuesday and Wednesday.

That is four possible workdays, the last two of which are highly unlikely.

3 games are a guarantee and only 4 are the maximum. With the weekend absorbing 3 of the games NOBODY is missing 5 days of work.

Just stop.

Seriously..if you have nothing else to do, good for you. You must be local. Families have to get on planes and fly to this darn thing.

Well find a club that has no ambition or a level where you aren't inconvenienced.

Clubs have entire PowerPoint presentations dedicated to the commitment of playing at this level. Often times the estimated price is included.

ECNL has a large and well organized website with the dates for these events listed a YEAR in advance.

If you cannot meet these obligations then do not accept the offer and find a club/league that does fit your lifestyle.

You have choice and the team will find another kid for your kids vacated spot. You will not be missed and you and your team might be happier if you did leave.
